Definitely need the textbook and the workbook. 6 tests from each chapter, she writes all pertinent vocab on the board and will practice everything in class. She's patient and hates the departmental requirements for this course as much as you will (1 cultural research paper, 1 25-sentence memorized oral presentation in Spanish).

Great Professor! She Writes all necessary notes on the board! She explains everything thoroughly!. Tests are fairly easy. No more than 3 unexcused absences or grade will be affected.

Such a wonderful professor! She really helps you to learn and actually understand Spanish! I took this class before with a different teacher and didnt do well but with her learning Spanish was better. She is very articulate. Dont miss class or you'll miss a lot! You WILL NEED the TEXTBOOK and do all workbook assignments. Shes very nice and helpful

She's excellent. If you're looking for a teacher, go with her. She really knows what she is talking about and makes learning the language so easy and understandable. You'll need to study for your tests, but everything is from your notes. Overall, great class and teacher; you'll learn a lot.

Good class, I really like the professor. She puts forth a lot of effort, especially when everybody in class is dead to the world at 8:00AM. The tests aren't too difficult as long as you study a bit beforehand and her lessons are clear and easy to understand.Try to participate, it makes the class more interesting!

Great teacher! Very nice and explains things well! The first few days can be intimidating when she immediately starts speaking all Spanish right off the bat, but i promise you will get used to it fast! Take her if you can! Definitely recommend!

This class was so easy, but soooooo BORING!! There is absolutely no variation in her teaching format. It's the same thing every class, but if you pay attention and do the homework you'll be fine on the tests. Super easy. That being said she is SOOO NICE. She always made small talk after class and seemed to actually care about her students.

really good teacher! kinda hard if you haven't had spanish before. go to every class! and make sure you practice the audio in the homework its the hardest part of the tests. study hard for the tests and you'll do fine and she checks all homework so do it! def recommend taking her!

Easy class just make sure to know your vocab and SPELLING. she takes points off for that. a lot of tests but it's easy b/c the tests are on each ch. so not as much to study. use the book almost daily and she does take attendence so if you plan to skip this class don't take her. also has workbook exercises but are easy. easy if you've taken spanish.

There are a lot of tests but as long as you know the vocab for the section its an easy A for all of them. The class is interesting, a third of the time you are talking to the person sitting next to you in spanish. Overall a good class and an easy A if you took any spanish before. if not, you might have to study a good amount but its still possible.

If you had spanish before your in good shape....If not better luck next time. The class reminded me of a middle school spanish class I had... It was my most dreaded class of the semester even though it was extremely funny how half the kids were completly confused. Lots of tests and busy work and you NEED the workbook and text.

She speaks mostly in Spanish but will use English to clarify things. Everything is done from the textbook and it reminded me of my high school language classes. This is an easy A if you pay attention and actually learn the language, but you can't slack off on the vocab. The whole class is vocab.

Easy if you've taken spanish in high school. Uses flash cards and calls on everyone so be prepared. Never speaks English in the class unless necessary, so sometimes you may get lost. I was unsure about the class but got an A- Just do the homework and study for tests and you'll be fine.

not easy if you havent had spanish before. also, BE PREPAIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS! she will call on you, you can't hide! attendance is part of your grade. some of the tests are hard, the final is relativly easy.
