I loved this class, it turned out to be more interesting than I thought. It's an easy A class, but I took it for granted and only got a B, but it should be an easy A. All you have to do, is take note from the power point, and study 100 questions from the study guide. The study guide is basically the test, so it's super easy. :)Mult choices and T/F

This class was easy. he literally hands you a study guide with every single question on the test. you go over the questions in class, but MUST have the textbook. that's honestly the only thing you need to do well: the study guide and the textbook for the questions. he hardly takes attendance. lectures are very boring though.

It took me a while to figure professor Timmins out. Once I did, I loved him. His lectures are very interesting, and I know much more now than before I took his course.

I took him this semester. Yes he is easy, but his lectures are straight from the publisher and he reads them word for word. I say this is worst sociology class I have taken. Don't take him if you want to enjoy the subject and not be bored out of your mind.

The book is very interesting. One of the only textbooks that I've actually enjoyed reading. Make sure you go to class and take the notes, he makes the test right from the notes and some stuff from the book. You HAVE to read the book. He is very laid back, pretty funny at times, but he does repeat himself a LOT.

Professor Timmins is such a sweet guy. This was an interesting subject itself, but I also found myself deeply absorbed in his lectures. Intelligent and always cracking jokes. You have to actually read the textbook for the tests, but that's a given. Take him!!

Repeats alot of the same stuff. "Ok" at teaching the material, but very entertaining in class. I'm not sure I'd call his class an easy A because most of the time you'll be teaching yourself. Good thing the material isn't complicated.

Easy A. Swear I went to class only on test days. only studied for 1st exam. BS'd the rest of the tests. I felt like I didnt need to study since it was all common sense. Lectures can get boring but he's very nice and kind. Easiest class/prof at OCC. He's the best! Highly recommend esp for lazy people who want an A! :)

Prof Timmins is an awesome guy. I really enjoyed his class. Read your book as he says and pay attention to his notes. He practically gives you the answers to his exams. Prof Timmins is a vrey good man. Recommend this class!!!!

Timmins is awesome! he lets everyone in his class in the beginning and he is a super easy professor. you'll hear a lot of great stories and be very amused. easy A. i suggest you take this class instead of Professor Candice pettus

Are you kidding me! This guy is constantly repeating the same jokes everytime it's rather embarrassing. The only students that laugh are generally doing so because they know he grades on an individual curve. Well if you are spending your own money or want to learn I don't suggest taking Terry Timmons! Well I got a 42 46 47 49 without his curve and only missed one class. This professor is too old to teach possibly. Reason I say this is his lack of actually teaching, and his extreme amount of time spent each class saying his personal beliefs which were often either wrong or not factually based. It's scary that I had to pay for his class!

Great Professor - despite any rude comments below that obviously means you didn't show up to class or you never enjoyed his reference for Dave Chappelle or George Clooney - as long as you follow his notes in class and READ THE BOOK like he says then you should do fine in the class ~ Highly Recommended !!!! & READ THE BOOK

Got an an A, he is nice, but let's just put it this way, he needs to do more research on the things he says. I was nice to him, but his classes are full of obvious mistakes and half truths & its rather sad. Like Google homosapian-neondertol hybrid then explain to him how everyone who is not African is a hybrid and then listen to him and laugh! SAD!

Nice prof., but very boring class. Grade is based on tests only, which are 50 pts each, total class out of 200 pts. The only reason why I passed was because of his grading curve. His tests are hard because his lectures almost have nothing to do with the tests. The tests are straight from the book, so read the chapters to do well on the tests.
