Comment:
The whole class is very disorganized. The only grades are exams and a final paper. Exams are based off very vague class notes where he makes up examples. These do not resemble exam questions at all and most exams only have 4 questions, which means most students failed.

Tests are long and hard. He expects you to have seen previous tests so if you are a distance student, you are screwed. He likes himself way too much and seems happy to make students suffer on the test. This is all too bad because his class was interesting and he is very well- spoken. I will NEVER take him again. Avoiding him like the plague!

* No homework. 2-3 mid-terms, 1 final, 1 paper. * Book assigned but not used. * Lecture materials make topics easy to understand until test day arrives. Tests are TOO long for DL (distance) students. Campus students have big advantage - they have old tests. How do I know? I started attending on campus; Campus students hook each other up.

Professor is horribly disorganized. It's currently 6 weeks till end of term and he hasn't outlined or determined the requirements for the term paper that will supposedly be 1/5 of our grade. I am unimpressed by his lack of preparation. Will not be taking him again.

Siems is an OK professor at best. He is a nice guy don't get me wrong but the guy just assigns cases for the class to present. LAME! It cost me 3,000 dollars to present 4 cases...total waste of time and money.

I think he is a pretty good teacher. I have him for grad school so it is fairly laid back. I just like is style of teaching and the fact ath he is very laid back. He makes you feel very comfortable and attentive while attending his class. Got give ol boy an A+ as far as teachers go---i dont leave his class feeling dumber than when i came in----lol

Grad course in Quantitative Analysis - Very personable, well spoken, knowlegable (Sr. Analyst at Dallas Fed Reserve Bank) First time teaching this course. Needs better organization. Should work on timeliness of class notes online Very helpful when asked.
