You have to work for it, but if you do, you will learn a lot. He will answer any question that you have and will go back if needed. If you do the homework and read the book like he says you will get A's on the tests. By far my favorite professor. YOU MUST GO TO CLASS. I have never, ever missed his class.

He knew his stuff but did not do a great job explaining it where kids that aren't naturally gifted at math would understand. He is very condescending to his students, including myself, when they struggle with a concept. If u do not read the book before hand in class he will leave u in the dust. I have no respect for him as he gives none to students

All his test are multiple choice so you really have to study hard and put the effort. By that I mean read the text always alot of test ques. from there. Practice, Practice, Practice problems he does in class again for the test. It's crucial and he says in beginning that a lot of students drop out (its true). Tests are a majority of his grade.

You have to understand how he expects the class to run if you want to pass. You must read the chapters in advance and teach yourself. Class time is to explain and practice the work which he does well. You definitely can't skip class and he let's you know that. He's rough at times just don't ask stupid questions or interrupt him. I would retake

He definitely knows what he is talking about in regards to accounting. He teaches very well and as long as you keep up and ask questions when confused you will do okay. This class is NOT for someone who wants an easy A. The tests are extremely hard and there normally is a curve but sometimes that doesnt matter. You must be prepared to study alot.

The most unprofessional teacher I have ever come across. I am an A student and I have never seen a Professor talk down so many people in my life. Maybe it was his frequent mood swings and the fact that he walked out on our class 1 hr early because no one understood what he was saying. Save your money, or pick another teacher.

When I saw a decent rating for Walker on this site I lost all hope for RMP. Walker does not teach, he uses generic slideshows from the book. He also assigns homework from the book BEFORE he teaches the topic. I got an A in this class, no thanks to him, because I taught myself out of the book. He will also repeatedly remind you that he is a CPA.

Highly recommend. Very helpful and a great sense of humor. Shares experiences that are related to the material and goes out of his way to provide extra insight not provided in the book. My favorite professor this semester. Class was very enjoyable and informative.

He in my opinion was one of the best teachers I've had and what I like the most is his disdain for poor or lazy students. He said the first day to pass you had to show up to class and do the reading. Those who fail or drop out of the class did so because they didn't follow those directions. No whiners! He knows his stuff and doesn't like disrespect

He invests a lot of time and energy into his teaching. His goal is to teach the student something that they can take from the class that will be helpful through out their lives. He is thorough, and willingly spends the time necessary to clarify difficult problems. He makes his expectations clear in his syllabus, and he sticks to it. Recommended

Mr. Walker is a good teacher, that grades fairly. Contrary to rumors, he doesn't take points off for not coming to class or being late--grades are based on tests only. From personal experience I can honestly say that Mr. Walkers wants to be seen as a fair teacher. He takes his job seriously and wants to excell at it. I'd recommend his classes.

I would recommend Mr. Walker to any student. He is one of the few teachers that offers a syllabus in the beginning of the semester that includes all h/work, readings, & tests, & sticks to it! He explains everything in simplified matters and asks that students please let him know if they don't understand. Highly recommend!

HE CAN NOT, AND SHOULD NOT TEACH; PERIOD. HES TOO BUSY "BRAGGING" ABOUT BEING A CPA. IF YOU ARE 2 MINUTES LATE FOR CLASS HE WILL MARK YOU ABSENT, OR YOU CAN'T TAKE A TEST.HES WAY TO STRICT TO BE A PROF. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND HIS CLASS TO ANYONE.
