Won't accept late work even one minute after the 8 pm deadline. I had bad family circumstances and he was not understanding. Spends most of the class talking about things not pertaining to the course.

Comment:

A really good person, but such an ineffective teacher. His classes are comprised of either documentaries (those are usually good) or reviewing the homework. That's it. 80% of his teaching is going off on tangents. If you do the work and show up, you get an A. But 6th grade science was harder than this, so if you want to learn, go somewhere else.

Comment:

Brother Wall is a solid choice for Foundation Sciences, probably one of my favorite professors all semester. Can get off on tangents a bit, but is great at making sure the important content is covered.

Travis teaches from power points in a dark room, despite this, his sense of humor is enough to keep you awake. He is clear about test material and an A is easy to obtain. He views controversial issues with an open mind, yet much of the taught material is review and offers nothing new to what should be college level students.

I honestly love this man. He is caring, funny, and loves what he teaches. Unfortunately, he tends to get sidetracked often and I often feel like I am just teaching myself. Not the worst, but you could find better. However, if you do get him, you will survive.

He is good at telling you what will be on the test but spends most of the class talking about his home life rather than teaching. Will explain something if you ask. It's hard to learn in class because of all the stories he tells about hunting.

Comment:

Brother Wall is a solid teacher. This particular course is getting dissolved into a different class soon, but I'll just describe his personality. He has a blank expression, but he booms his voice at times (in case you didn't know, this class is on RANGE MANAGEMENT). He likes to tease and joke and wants to help you succeed. He's a great guy!

Brother Wall has good intentions. Not the best teacher I've ever had but it wasn't a catastrophe. He tells you the test questions (easy A) and makes a lot of jokes during class. Lecture can be a bit boring but he tried to make it more interesting by telling stories. He loves hunting and will let you know the first day of class.

Brother Wall was amazing! He lectures exactly what would be on the test and made the class as easy as he could still allowing his students to learn what they needed. Attendance isn't mandatory but he does use I-Clickers for questions that counts as attendance. I would strongly recommend him if you want a easy class.

Comment:

Brother Wall is absolutely hilarious. The class is easy and he teaches it clearly. Sometimes you can get lost during class, but I always ended up finding my way back because of the way he teaches and relates everything. He also tells you exactly what is going to be on the test, so that makes it easy. Go to him personally for test information.

And some of these different ideas to look at it. This is the phrase that he uses to end almost every sentence that comes out of his mouth, even when it makes no sense. Also doesn't really teach you anything in class, just discusses the huge reading assignments. Tangents are a regular thing. Feels more like a fact memorization course.

Lots of tests and quizzes. Talks about his family too often when it has nothing to do with the lesson. Can be rude and no he's not being sarcastic and won't apologize. Hard to follow his lectures. The tests and quizzes will bring down your grade. I wouldn't take his class again.

A good guy and pretty chill but not the most respectful at times. Tries to make class somewhat entertaining. I like that he sometimes connects the gospel with science. You could literally take this class just from the text book (its online so no purchase required). Not great at explaining, and doesnt answer student questions very well.

Brother Wall is a good guy with good intentions, however most of the time he can't express the class very well. He uses personal stories that don't really apply to anything. Sometimes he tries to show how smart he can be and makes the class more complicated than it needs to be. He does a review before the test and gives you about half of the exam.

Decent and good guy, but could be cold if he didn't care to talk to you(or me for that matter). As stated by other students, he isn't a very focused teacher; and when he does teach, its pretty empty and blah for the most part. The tests were worthless and the study resources (or lack of them) which he gave you were just as bad. Do not recommended.

Brother Wall, is a great prof. he is very chill and laid back on certain things; but on test you actually have to study and understand the criteria, other than that the quizzes are super easy. Def take him!

Least favorite teacher so far. He's a really good person but as a teacher he's the worst. He would go off on the longest tangents that weren't even relevant to the topic that he was attempting to teach. Honestly anyone could have taught better than he did. When you ask questions don't expect him to help he'll just say figure it out yourself.

Here's the deal. I wasn't a fan of his teaching style, but since it was a University course, he had to teach certain things. He isn't the best at understanding questions students have, and doesn't fully answer them unless you ask more than once. He's a good guy, and wants you to succeed, but shows it in a really odd way. I wouldn't take him again

He was HORRIBLE. He legitimately wrote the worst tests I have ever taken. He also doesn't provide any criteria/rubrics for projects or papers so you have to do. The lectures are terrible, even if you do show up to class he spends most of the time on google earth pointing at his house and talkin about his dogs. Try to get a different professor.
