This tool is very disrespectful towards his students. His accent is very thick and his lectures leave much room for improvements. But he has low standards so if you are willing to put up with his barbaric ways of treating others, A is easy. He also makes no effort to hide his favoritism for attractive girls. I'm surprised he's still around.

He made chem easier than 101 now. But he is or was very anal when you ask him a lot of questions. But, not a hard class if you attend and take notes every day. Other than that, you will be in hell.

This class is very confusing and time consuming. If you have the time or know chem. 101 by heart you should do ok. Professor does care but he has unrealistic expectations for an introductory non-chem. student. He does curve the tests, which is necessary because you never know what to expect. The secret to passing is a tutor.

He expects you know everything from Chem 103. Read the book inside and out...it's not impossible to pass. YOu must have a lot of time to study the details of all the concepts. His lectures are not so clear, and he is no help. Get outside tutoring if you can. Write every equation you can in your lab notebook, you can use it for the LAB final.

He's a HARD teacher!! He assumes that you know the material, and he treats you like if you don't know anything! He tries to make the class feel stupid if you can't answer his questions. His tests are hard, and not related to the homework. He really wants you to know Chem by heart! I don't like him!!!

I can't believe this loser hasn't been fired! When I took him in 1998 he embarrassed my lab partner so badly in front of everyone that she left the room crying! He asked some question and she answered, "Water." He ridiculed her for not saying H2O. If you're reading this, Golchett, you're a ****ing dick and everyone hates you! Kill yourself!

This is an overall fairly easy class if you do the reading. U have to teach yourself b/c this instructor doesn't know how. He doesn't know the material well so learning from him is not a good idea. 3 Exams & Final, quizes, HW, but Huge Curve at the end. Very unfair man. Do not know to teach. Has favorites in the class. Tests are with full of errors. Treats students like small kids. Do not have respect for students. Grades very unfair. Hes a good teacher. Goes over concepts and puts everything he goes over on the tests. Even if you think that it will not be on the test, study it anyway. You will get a good grade if you study. Also, sit in the front unless you are naturally good at the subject. You will understand him better. The thing is study, or you will be dead last in grades.

if you want a real teacher don't take him. I learned more from the book than him, he is unclear, and screws you over on the tests and finals. he will go over things that seem important and then not test you on them, but small details that he barely goes over. you think your doing ok in his class,but then you fail. don't take him if you want to pass
