She comes across really nice at first, but then her true colors come across. She can be very condescending and mean. Constantly would make jabs at me and ultimately drove me away from participating in theater.

Dr. Bristow was very passionate for theater because she is the freaking lady over the department at Berry. She loved to show us videos which would keep me interested, but she also wasn't very clear as to what would be on tests all the time. You just need to read and do what she ways and have meaning to it and she will admire that. If you are shy...

There's a quiz almost every week and the questions are often weirdly worded. But, there's no tests this semester, just the Collaborative Project at the end as your final. You work in groups a lot and have to perform little skits for daily grades.

Very enthusiastic about her work, which definitely comes out in her teaching. The work load is managable, but there is a lot of required reading for play evaluations, tests, etc. Final project is a lot of fun, even if you don't have theater experience like I didn't when entering the class.

Ms. Alice is awesome!!! If you do your work you will make an A+++!!! When you do the reading, and fill out the form after it, she usually does not read it and will give you a perfect score. It is the same case with her new play reports. The only things that require much work are the play reviews and her tests!!!

This class will kick your but if you do not do the assigned readings. The classroom is more of a learn a little bit more about what you read, and that is about it. You could never go to a single class and still pass the test just by doing the reading assignments. I would advise taking her. She is the toughest of the three, but it's an easy class.

Alice is insanely good as a teacher and designer. She never failed to amaze me. Her classes were tough, but she graded fairly and really stretched peoples abilities. Yay Alice!
