This class is writing intensive so naturally, there is lots of writing. A 1-1.5 page journal entry is due every class for an article he posts to be read. The articles can be very complicated to read but you get better at reading them as the semester lingers on. Somewhat tough grader but doesn't really care about the class, only Associate Provost

Had him for lab. Overall a good professor but not great. He was late a lot and we didn't get grades back for weeks. He was great in that if you messed up a lab he wouldn't make you start over.

Writing Intensive class, journals due every day in class. Very interesting class, esp. if interested in medicine. Couple of short papers and a quiz. Overall, an easy class with difficult subject matter for beginners. Recommend after taking Cell and Biochem.

I really liked this teaching style. The group learning thing really worked for me, and I felt like Dr. Bressette could tell when we weren't understanding stuff and he would clarify. I'm really glad I had him for organic.
