Professor Mcdougall is probably the worst professor to take if you do not have a major in or background in statistics. I took another statistics based course and learned so much more in the other course. I don't know if it was because we were online or what but he really can't teach and his class wasn't even worth going to.

Save yourself the trouble, don't take him! He taught NOTHING. Every single student had to teach themselves. And the material was so odd and confusing. He even yelled at students who were confused and who had trouble submitting work during a pandemic! The TA was no help either. She was straight up rude to everyone! I don't even know how I survived!

My goodness. This class was an absolute joke. He just talked about everything but nothing at all the entire lecture and didnt teach a single thing. Unless youre a math genius, AVOID HIM! He yelled at a student for trying to tell him that shes confused no you cant be confused like okay sir. Avoid him

If you are not that good at math, do not take him! During this time the class was on zoom if was hard. You can tell he didn't know what he was doing. He don't respond to emails and he is boring.

He explained hard problems in class. You need to read the book. Do the assignments, quizzes which will add to your total grade. You have one whole week to do each work. Midterm was not hard. You have 24 hours to finish it. He provides midterm review and will do final review. With a little work, you can path with A.

Very nonchalant and does not care about many things. Yelled at a student for saying her opinion like she was a dog. If this class was not an easy A I would have switched. Very confusing directions on homework, quizzes and tests. Helps to have a class groupme.

He does not accept late work without proof or documentation. Nice guy and did an exceptional curve at the end. He doesn't explain the material as well as some other professors. Exams are nothing like practice exams or like the homework. Do other problems in the book.

Great professor. Funny, down to earth guy. His exams are difficult, but as long as you do BOOK PROBLEMS (more than just the ones he assigns!) you'll be OK.

Awesome professor with a great sense of humor. The man definitely knows his material and explains probability and statistical concepts very clearly. Make sure you pay attention in class, take good notes, and understand all of the homework.

Interesting professor... lectures are VERY complicted (heck, it's a complicated subject) as are his exams. He allows a sheet of notes for the midterm and final but they will not help unless you know what questions will be on the exam haha. There is graded homework =( But he gives MASSIVE and I mean MASSIVE curves in the end

Nice guy, but doesn't seem to care much. Is always late for his office hours, has an attitude of "don't bother me with your questions" on the rare occasions he is in this office at office hours. Should do something else cause clearly teaching is not his thing.

He was really nice. I didn't understand anything, and still got a B in the class. Just make sure you do all your homework assignments and don't leave anything blank on your tests and you should do fine. Doesn't take attendance either

Take this professor,once you do all your assignments,answer all questions in an exam, never leave a question blank you will pass the class.He only gives a mid-term and a final exam I failed one exam and my final grade was a B.Make sure you go to the tutoring center for help with your assignments.

he is a nice guy but i didnt understand what he was teaching, he might as well have been speaking another language. Only 2 exams midterm and final and he grades on a curve which is good. 4 homework assignments, and that was it. Not easy at all. No need to go to class, just read the book on your own.

I have him right now and He is a really nice guy overall, a little confusing but its a really hard subject to learn. He really knows his stuff though. He grades on a curve which is awesome and makes me not hate the class so much. I like him a lot .

I'm not sure if it was the professor or the class material, but this class was extremely hard. His lectures will just confuse you to no end, but I found you'll understand better if you just read the text. He curves severely, I thought I was going to fail but I passed with a B. He's nice though.

He's alright. The homework assignments are easy A's. The exams are hard, but curved. His lectures are just extremely boring. He gives extremely poor examples and has an unbelievably bland and boring personality. Overall, he's just OK, I would have rather taken another professor though.
