I really liked prof Croasmun and this was a pretty easy course however you have group papers due every week and I didnt like that because your grade depends heavily on your group mates, plus your stuck with the same group mates the whole semester so if you dont like them thats tough. Exams are pretty easy if you watch lectures.

I felt like the difference in my grade being an A and a B was the group projects. My partners really lagged and it was a group grade. However the class was easy and interesting.

Dr. Croasmun was my least favorite. She is horrible about responding to her emails. She doesn't even want to talk to you or help you. Her teaching assistants always replied to me even when I wanted to talk with her specifically. Her grading is super hard compared to other professors in her department. 100/10 would not recommend!

Nice lady but for a 100 level COM class there were 8-9 speeches, 2 exams and an essay that all felt pretty back to back. Easy class but she can be a tough grader at times.

While she is nice and funny, she is not very good at teaching material. Every analysis assignment we have, I put thought into and a good amount of work and do not see any payoff. I went to meet with her to get some feedback and I got .5 points higher on my grade. Tests are easy and are worth 80% of the course, which is how I am even passing.

She's incredibly unorganized. There are typos throughout all the course material, and she hasn't responded to a number of my questions (it's an online course). She took what could've been an interesting subject and made it tedious. Seems like a pleasant person, but maybe not the best professor.

Prof Croasmun doesn't always respond to emails, just be persistent. The online section isn't hard, just don't forget about it.

She's awful. She doesn't even teach the online class. Every single week we had to watch full episodes of ABC sitcoms (you think I'm joking, I'm not. We watch Fresh Off the Boat, Black-ish, and The Goldbergs every single week). She doesn't open weeks online until days after they've started and it takes her months to grade thing.

Comment:
Professor Croasmun's online class is fairly easy. Three tests, a final, and a weekly discussion post. The tests are usually straight from the book, so read it and you're golden. Professor Croasmun is very unorganized. It always took her at least three days to put up assignments online, and some weeks we didn't even have an assignment online.

Doesn't grade anything quickly, but the online section is extremely easy. All of the tests are taken online at home. Grade is compromised of two midterms, a final, discussion posts, and learnsmart assignments. The tests are relatively easy. She's okay, but there aren't online lectures. You just read the book and answer the questions through LS.

She's a wonderful person, really really funny... But a bit preoccupied. She's brilliant... But her teaching methods are not so great. The tests are relatively easy. but the pop quizzes are brutal

I took her Introduction to Persuasion Theory online. The teacher is a very kind lady who is willing to help students. Her tests are not terribly difficult though you do need to read the textbook. Much of what she says comes from the book and you will need to take a few lecture notes. She does, unfortunately, word her assignments in a confusing way.

She would take, on average, 6 weeks to grade an assignment. She always had an excuse for why it took so long. With that being said, you had zero clue as to where you stood grade wise in the class. I did find the material interesting, but she made the class agitating and frustrating. I would not recommend her.

Did not like her at all. First off, she literally took a month to grade some things which is unacceptable. Her test's were tricky and questions were not worded well. She also took forever to respond through email and sometimes never did respond.

I took this class online, pretty easy for me. I never read from the book just looked at definitions. If you miss a discussion post, she gives you 3 chances to make it up. Tests are hard, but again you can use your notes/book.

Terrible teacher. I took her online communications class and it's ironic that she was terrible about communicating when I was learning about interpersonal communications... She grades slowly and harshly and puts up discussion/quizzes/exams and doesn't necessarily email you to tell you that they're up. Don't take her if you have another choice.

it's like she never even opened the book she's teaching from. she does not know her stuff and is not very well organized in class. a big disappointment. a full month after the first test was given and i'm still waiting on my grade. no exaggeration. the test was 9/17 and it's 10/24. i have no grade. how is she a college teacher?

First off, I'm taking her at Wayne Community College, where she is now located. Horrible teacher. Takes her over 3 weeks to grade papers and speeches for a class of 20. She doesn't clarify what she wants in a speech and then docks you ridiculous points for stupid stuff. Ten points because you didn't like my topic AFTER you gave me the thumbs up?
