6 quizzes - fairly easy, but definitely utilize the book and her powerpoints. 4 Discussions - Follow the guidelines and you will be set 3 papers - these weren't hard at all, but she grades them really really slowly. 1 crossword puzzle - super easy Great class. If you do the work and follow her rules you will be fine.

Her personally is great ! She responds great. Every time I write to her she responds fast. Bad thing about her is that she takes forever with grading your assignments literally over a month sometimes I'm waiting on two to three assignments. Her due dates are not specific so you have to search h everywhere to make sure you don't pass the date.

Comment:

Prof Mowery is an excellent teacher. Lectures are interesting, the topic is great. You have to do a debate paper and you pick from topics she gives. Exams are a bit tough, but I always passed with a B with a good amount of studying and I never bough the book. Offers extra credit and is there to help you any time. Wish she straight more classes.

She's a really nice lady, she's easy to understand and very happy. Her notes are easy to read but her test are tricky. She won't help you much when it comes to 1 or 2 points. She will fail you by 2 points. She leaves hw and the paper is a bit confusing... If you can take someone else then do it.

Bad: She repeats herself. A lot. She acts like she doesn't want to be there. If her classes say 3 hours, they really mean 3 hours. The material is basic and she goes off on too many tangents when questioned. Good: Tests are straight forward, albeit a little grammatically deceiving. The paper is very easy. You're guaranteed a B if you show.

Saying this professor is amazing is an understatement. Her tests come straight from the notes, and she gives a detailed review before each test. She's hilarious and makes learning the material fun too. Don't bother buying the book. I got an A without opening the book once. If you go to class and take notes you'll be fine. Definitely take her!
