He teaches an online course as well but he is an amazing professor, you would be cheating yourself out of having a fun enjoyable class if you don't take the class physically. Besides the book can be dry he makes it clear and everything you need to know for the exams comes straight from lectures. He makes the class an enjoyable environment.

Comment:

Dr. Pridgeon is a great teacher! He tries to make the class as interesting as possible. He makes up the note packets for you so all you have to do is follow along. Grade is based on tests only and a small amount of homework but tests are okay if you study! Great class to fill science requirement!

Dr. Pridgeon is AMAZING! He is passionate about Geography and loves what he does. Daily hw (one question found directly in the text) and the tests are fine if you pay attention and study. When he calls on you and you don't know the answer he will completely help you out. Favorite professor at Canisius, would recommend him to anyone

How could you not love Pridgeon? He's very energetic and loves his subject! He wears a different tie everyday and calls everyone "Mr." and "Ms.". He makes a boring subject more upbeat. The tests aren't hard as long as you study. He's a rather understanding guy.

Very loud and energetic. He literally runs around the class while lecturing. Super motivated and loves teaching earth science. Forced participation, and mandatory attendance. Not a typical college teaching style. Gives you the short answer questions before the tests but there is a lot of vocabulary you need to look over

Dr. Pridgeon is really nice and very willing to help out in whatever way he can. THe material is pretty boring but if you study from the notes sheets that he gives out you should be okay. Oh and he wears cool ties.

Dr. Pridgeon is one of the best teachers at Canisius. He calls you by your last name, "Mr. Wrokitka," for example. His "quizzes" are quite long and are like tests. It's easy, no outside work what-so-ever. He's a good guy, and will go out of his way to make sure you get a good grade. Take this class!

Dr. Pridgeon is definitely an asset to Canisius. The class is fairly easy, he prints out notes every class, and gives you study guides before the tests. There is no homework, only daily quizzes that aren't too difficult. Funny, nice, helpful guy, and he wears a different tie every single day. Highly reccomend.

omg i LOVE dr. pridgeon. he's the cutest man ever...he reminds me of a dad from a 50s sitcom. he's so into geography and u can tell he really loves to teach. he cares about his students and is just so nice. his tests are kinda tough tho, not gonna lie. but he prints all the notes out for you and u never have homework...just tests... take him!

I loved Dr. Pridgeon. I hate earth science, but he was very willing to help, and he tried to make it as interesting as he could. You can tell he loves what he teaches because he gets so animated about it. The class dragged, but it was kind of late, so we were all tired anyway. I definitely recommend taking this course with him.

I loved Pridgedon!..Makes it very clear what will be onm the quizzes..However, don't waste your time reading the book b/c all the test ?'s come from the note packets he hands out to you..Great guy!

This guy is completely obsessed with movies and will involve them in some way to geography. There is no homework, but there are daily one question quizzes. These are annoying, but not difficult. There are only a couple tests, but if you read the book and study the notes it is not too bad. Overall, a pretty goofy guy, but not a bad teacher.

He's a very nice man and a good teacher. The class is pretty boring and long! I'm not a strong science student so class was hard. Quizzes have lots of tricky MC questions which tend to drag down grade. Final grade is all from testing, so if you don't test well in science you might want to stay away. But a nice teacher who wants you to do well!

Great guy! Gets so excited about geography it's funny sometimes. Covers a lot of material...an entire 650 page text. Prints out notes for you, but I still suggest reading the book for the daily quiz.

I loved this guy! He reminds me of my dad. Really knows his stuff, and makes it all interesting. Lots of notes, but listening to what he says is more important than taking notes.
