1) Way too many group assignments, so dont take this class if you're introverted 2) Powerpoint lectures were useless, so either read the chapters ahead of time and take your own notes or do the study guide right when she gives it out 3) She's so quirky it's distracting! She's fun though, way helpful, and the class is laid back. Totally recommend!

Amazing prof. Took her class online, I was intimidated at first by the class. A lot of information. Her lectures online are very well organized and clear. All of the answers to the assignments/exams are in the lecture. She will drop the lowest unit test grade. Very Very Easy if you read her lectures. I suggest printing them, can be a lot of info.

This was my first online class. It was easy to navigate and the information was easy to understand. Don't necessarily need the book. I never did and I got an A. She has outlines of every chapter and homework assignments can be fun. Overall, great teacher to have for an online class! I recommend!

I took this course online, it was simple and to the point. Take the practice quizzes, and pay attention to her chapter lectures for the answers on the tests. Assignments are only 4-6 questions long, and you can find the answers in her chapter lectures. Simple and easy class. Great filler for a semester.

I took Dr. Hall for anthropology 1 and she is outstanding. She lectures from power points which pretty much gives a great break down on what you will read in your book. She is exceptionally helpful and very lenient. Take this class and you won't regret it!

If you don't care about a grade letter, but want to pass than take this professor. Many people hardly attended class and hardly studied for tests, but still passed the class. The tests are multiple choice and are easy questions to answer if you do not study. The professor lectures off slide shows but it is so boring.

Online class. Great teacher! She truly knows and loves anthropology. Her ICARE sections are very interesting and important for the tests, which are easy if you do ALL of the reading. 3 midterms (80 points each), final (130 points), 7 short assignments (total 60 points), occasional extra credit. No discussion posts. Highly recommended!

She really knows what she's talking about, but has a hard time verbalizing it in a coherent way. and when she asks for the answer to a question, if nobody knows it she'll just move on instead of realizing people are lost and going back over it. but shes very sweet, and definitely knows her stuff.

lectures in this class were boring except when we talked about primates. her grading scale is out of 400. if you do the reading you will at least pass with a B. she drps your lowest score midterm but gives little if any extra credit. i reccommend her if you want an easy A. just read
