Comment:

I never had to worry about this class or falling behind because she gives very few assignments and a midterm and final. She's very accessible outside of class and makes an effort to get to know her students even though her class is asynchronous. Gives LOTS of extra credit, but I did none of it and ended up with an A- anyways. Would take her again!

Comment:

I failed the midterm and passed the class with a C. reading the book is a must if you want to past. there's only 2 test, do all the extra credits, they come in handy. (don't rely on only studying her review question sheet to pass a test)

Comment:

Fully online, midterm, final & 1 paper all online. Exams were around 70 MC questions in 75 mins, so its rushed. Most of the qns came from textbook definitions so look in the glossary or search the book for keywords! Easy A if you use the textbook! Shes a lenient grader, most students got full credit for the paper and she offers extra credit too!

Comment:

I'm a TV major but this class feels heavily weighted in favor of business majors despite qualifying for both. Lewis's lectures aren't always clear and feel more about her personal experience than teaching the basics of advertising. The tests are all about taking facts directly from the textbook, and half the class is online, so it's fairly easy.

Comment:

Super cool class. Professor Lewis is nice and understanding, and the course is fairly relevant. Textbook is cheap and super helpful. Midterm and final are the only things you are graded on, both are fairly easy. Enjoyed having her as my professor.

She only gives a midterm and final and thats all you are graded on! The study guide is a waste of time, she needs to retire and they need to get someone else to teach that class unfortunately shes the only professor that teaches that class. This class was a waste I didnt learn anything, I wish I would have taken a different class.

This professor is horrible I dont know why shes still teaching this class. She doesnt put up any lectures. The first day of class she puts up notes for the whole semester and tell you to read the book thats assigned for the class. Theres no kind of engagement from the professor you dont hear from her until its time for the midterm and final!

I've taken classes with this professor for about 3 years now since I attended to KBCC. This professor goes above and beyond to ensure the success of her students. She properly prepares us for testing. She teaches us things that can be applied to our career and real life. If you do the reading and follow ger guidelines you will pass the class and

This is the 3rd class i have taken with her. She's a pretty good professor and very flexible. She usually gives two extra credits throughout the semester, a midterm and a final. I believe both are curved. You can do really bad in one and do well on the other and still get an A. I've taken her online and in person and she's very easy going.

She is nice but she gives two tests midterm and final. Both tests are hard. I took this course online and there were many questions in the exams, time was limited and the review sheet was not related to the exam.

cool person but horrible professor. she doesn't teach anything that she put on the test so lecture is useless. also she gives you a useless study guide that is so general that you will never find in the textbook. and she doesn't write her notes, she just talks. do not take her you will get a C or lower.

She's actually pretty good. Very flexible with regards to the needs of her students. She usually responds quickly to emails. This is the 3rd Class I've taken with her. Perfect professor to take in the Summertime. She makes it bearable. I can't really complain about her. She's cool.

Comment:

Very nice professor, very caring and gives fast response to questions. However, I took the online class with her and it was horrible. There is no real guidance except to read the notes and the books. No uploaded lectures, no quizzes, no homework. Need to have some preparation and interactive work to make this online class feel like an actual class.

I took this course online and it was the biggest mistake. 50% final 50% midterm. Both tests are ridiculously hard. Review sheet is useless. Questions are so confusing. If you value your gpa don't take this course online. She's a nice lady but the course needs to be changed. Add some assignments and homework please.

Really great Professor. Super understanding and willing to answer your questions. Doesn't make you feel like you're bothering her. You should note: you are expected to work. This isn't an easy A because she isn't an easy grader. You will learn something ! Read the textbook! Read course documents!

Easiest summer class I took. She posted about 7 4-5 word docs explaining the chapters. Did the one midterm project and took the final. Passed with little effort.

Comment:

Online class was not bad at all. Very clear grading standards and not many assignments. I never physically met her but it was a chill class. Allows you to revise papers if you didn't do well. Online final was 10 essay questions. Honestly I would recommend her to anyone... Take it online and keep up with the readings.
