This class was so much more difficult than it needed to be; 15 week class in 7.5 weeks. Her exams are extremely difficult bc even though quizzes do somewhat relate to the assigned hmwk, her exams fail to do that whatsoever. I always felt prepared for the exams bc I understood the hmwk completely but the tests were so different from hmwk material

Be ready to work. One of the toughest classes I've taken. Its condensed into a 7.5 week course which makes it that much harder. Look out for EXAMS as they aren't fully what the homework and quizzes go over. Barbara likes to throw new material or stuff that is so miniscule in the book you wouldn't expect on an exam. You gotta work for the grade.

Online: At first, this class was difficult. Be prepared to buy an access code. Lots of PowerPoint lectures that you should listen. She gives two chances to take each quiz, which if you study your mistakes you can get A's on the tests. Homework is a little harder, but you can look at the "show me how" and it will literally show you how to get 100%

Most difficult class I have ever taken. You will have to study a lot for the exams. They are much more difficult than any of the homework, quizzes, or projects. Accounting is not an exciting subject, but she does not put in any effort to engage students.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. It seems appealing because its only 7.5 weeks but they will be the worst 7.5 weeks of your life and you probably won't pass and will have to take it again. The tests are literally impossible and do not test if you know how to do the accounting principles. This class was the worst and avoid it definitely.

AVOID TAKING THIS PROFESSOR. Despite all the bad reviews, I still took the class anyways and I regret it. I never worked so hard for a C in my life. The projects and HW are pretty easy but exams are close to impossible to do well on and they are 200 pts each. You literally have to study everything if you want to do well on her exams. Do not take.

This was by far the hardest class I have ever taken in my life. You use this book called Solid Footing that takes you through accounting, then you read an ASU textbook. The tests were beyond impossible. I had questions where I don't even know where they got the information from. I really wish it would have been easier, good intentions but hard.

Avoid this instructor! No matter how hard I study and know the concepts, the tests and quizzes are worded so that even a lawyer would become confused.

Take ACC231 with Rio Salado if you have to take it online, this class is an absolute madhouse with zero clarity from the professor, this is the problem with adjunct faculty, they don't know how to teach, just want to supplement their income. The project is confusing, HW shows no correlation to anything, & the instruction is garbage quality

Be prepared to put in a lot of work. There are almost 1000 points, but about 60% of them are easy points for hw, quizzes and 2 excel projects. Exams are hard and feel very different from hw and quiz questions. I guess it helps to read the book to prepare for exams. Make sure to get a good grade on exam 1, it's the easiest. Friendly professor.

Easy homework points, 1 quiz a week which can sometimes be pretty tricky, 2 pretty simple projects, and 3 VERY HARD exams. The exams are the worst part because you will think you know all the material and then she will ask something completely unrelated. Got a B, D, and C on the 3 tests ended up with a B- in the class. be ready to work hard

Homework is super easy to "cheat" on, you can figure out the answers with the "show me how to do it". and is an easy 125points, quizzes are kind of tough but you get 2 attempts. Lastly study for the tests, it will help. I didnt study once, or even opened my book and earned a C with ease. A little effort and get an easy B,

She didn't care one bit about the class. The online version of the class is extremely difficult compared to the in class version. If you are thinking about taking the class online don't, it is worth going to a 7:30 am class if it means not taking it online.

DONT TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE. Anyone will tell you that Accounting can be a difficult class, but a 6 week condensed course just made it worse. This class flew by and with my busy schedule it was extremely difficult to keep up with what was going on. before I knew it I had failed the class and am now retaking it this summer.

I took this class online. The study guides do not help with the exams. You have to know every little detail about each module to do well on the exams. Professor Muller is great though. If you ever have any questions, email her and she usually respods within an hour or so. Only take this class online if you are disciplined about your work!

[Took Online] The tests are nothing like the study guides/practice tests. I could breeze through all the study materials, but when I got tot the tests there were always questions that weren't covered on the study material. Good luck if you take this class, you must learn everything!
