He didn't actually teach the course. Told the class to teach the course and we basically had discussions about intimate relationships that didn't discuss the course content. It was almost all fluff that we covered.

Dr. Gottlieb is a very kind and helpful man! He is really invested in his students and willing to help in anyway, not just with course material but also provides excellent guidance for future plans. Difficult course with a lot of readings but the lectures are free flowing and extremely interesting!

Gottlieb's the best! Such a nice man and is highly invested in his students and colleagues. You can literally talk to him about anything. 3690's tough though. The lectures are interesting but unorganized and the readings - UGH. The readings will DESTROY you. The exams are tricky too. Certainly not a bird course, but is nonetheless very valuable

This class was awful. Completely brought down my average. Don't take it unless you are prepared to memorize every little detail of upwards of 20 empirically based articles. He means well but taught an awful course.

Lectures feel like a waste of time. Courselink is not used which makes it difficult to know what he expects you to get out of the lectures. Readings are pretty easy for the most part but exam questions are a little unclear. For exams, have more than a general understanding. Memorize some details and explain everything. Sometimes lacks discretion.

The best prof I've ever had. Such a nice guy. Gets to know his students and genuinely cares about them. Very interesting lectures. Readings were boring and too many of them. Exam are hard because he expects a deep understanding of the material. But by far my favourite class ever.

I love him. The nicest, most helpful prof I've ever had. Really cares about his students. Go to class because he tests on lectures. Having to wade through the articles sucks, but he really does focus his test questions on the important stuff. A class and a prof you can really benefit from, not just endure.

He is an extremely nice man, but the structure of the course made me absolutely crazy. The midterm and final comprised half the mark, but they had little to do with what we actually discussed in class. It's too bad, because the material was interesting.

Tough class. Lectures are so important b/c that is where he gives all the material that he will test on. Course pack is freaking ridiculous.... way too much reading of useless information. Some is valuable, but you have to read so much junk to get to the goods.

Truly an amazing man. he cares about each student, and wants to learn everyone's name. you don't feel like a # in his class but an actual person. material is facinating and can be applied to life all around you. he's the kind of guy i wish was one of my bestfriend's dad!! Well Done B. Gottlieb!!!!
