I Hate reading and writting but he made class so funny and he actually made me enjoy interpreting and breaking apart books and movies! He's amazing trust me I never read on my own time but ill read if he's in the pic!

Very funny guy, very articulate with his words and he's young. He's really smart and wants you to pass. I took him for summer school and it was super easy. The grade was based on three projects that he goes over extensivly.

Very nice... very helpful... intracts well with his students... asks questions from students randomly so they wouldn listen well during lectures. makes all students take part in lectures... I always dreaded taking this writing class but he make it fun and easy for me... I highly recomment him...

Amazing professor. Very interesting, dicussions held your interest. He likes to hear everyones thoughts even if he doesnt agree. Excellent speaker, do the homework, there isnt much and it will pay off.

Do the reading so you can participate in class discussion(70% of the class). Voth is a great teacher and takes time to get his students thinking about various real world topics. He has got a great personality and is an excellent speaker. School would be so much better if all teachers were like him.

Very much an advocate for communication among students and current events. I would recommend this class and instructor as an intriguing change from the ordinary boredom of English classes. Hang tough with his standards, it only improves you as a student! I'd take a class from him again!

Took this class over summer and was not looking forward to it. However, Joseph seemed to turn my negative attitude into a positive one. Although he expected a lot, he was very helpful and pretty hilarious too. I would recomend him if you want to learn something...

I took this class over the summer. He is a very good instructor. I learned to write better and I felt it was fair on his assignment. He worked hard at keeping the class interesting. Lots of class participation.
