Really great professor, You can tell he enjoys what he does. I personally don't mind his stories, very interesting guy and clearly loves teaching psy, take him you wont regret it.

Professor Roane is a nice guy. However, he gives a 15-20 page paper and no matter how many times you fix it, its always wrong. You have to study alot for the exams, I felt like he was all over the place with his lecturing, Powerpoints would of been more helpful.

great teacher, tells a lot of personal stories but thats what makes him a unique professor because his stories correlate to the subject which makes you view the material from a different perspective. recommend him to anyone who is really interested in psychology

Great professor. Every class feels more like a discussion with a friend rather than a student to teacher. Hilarious stories that correspond to the class criteria. Would take another one of his courses any day. Do all online activities as well as spend a few studying your notes and your grade should be an A.

He is a very good professor. He expects the usual, no talking, no cell phone. Nothing out of the ordinary. Yes, he does speak about his personal life, but I think that was a way to establish a connection with the students, also his stories correspond with whatever he is teaching. This is a great class, time went by so quickly. Definitely take it

He obviously knows about psychology, the problem is that he veers off topic too many times and I didn't find his jokes to be funny, he joked too much about nonsense and always talked about his life, then he got upset when the class didn't know the material, but can you blame us? the good thing though is that he is a fair grader.

He's a very good professor. I highly recommend him, but make sure to complete all the HW and also avoid talking while he's talking, and never use you phone in front of him. He talks a lot about his life but always pay attention to what he is saying because he suddenly starts to talk about something from class relate to his life. Excellent class!!

First of all, He is one of the best professor. Take this class and you will enjoy it. Just don't miss any class and do homework on time and test will be much easier if you go every class and understand what professor explains. One of the best class.

Awesome teacher with a great sense of humor. Teaches in such an engaging way and you will not stop laughing. He does speak about his family a lot but it's so you can understand the relation of the lesson to reality. He gives this online homeworks which I recommend you do right away. Gives xtra credit and gives many opportunities.

If you do your work then you will pass. I don't understand how someone could give this guy a bad rating. He makes class very entertaining, and you are given about 2-3 weeks to complete the homework which are online. His test are not hard, just read the review sheets. He cares about his students. He also teaches you to chill out and relax.

Very hard class. His 3 test are so tricky. you have to really study hard to pass his class even if you do all his homework. he mostly talks about his family esp his cat and nephew. hates cell phone. he is the hardest prof i have ever had. all my other classes i got A's the only class i got C+. don't recommend him my gpa dropped from 4 to 3.7

Prof. Roane is not helpful at all.if you're sick and u missed his midterm he won't give u a chance to take it back. he doesn't explain much on how to do his paper which is 40% of your grade and when u hand in your paper he will give u a low grade for it. If you want an A don't take him. he only talks abt his family and u have to study by yourself.
