Really good teacher all around, if he can't help you at the moment he will find someone who can. He applies teachings to real life, and I would always be taming notes on his life tips regarding his experiences he has had. Its really nice to have a teacher who teaches about what they actually do in there life because there is more knowledge to gain

Very boring professor. students claim he tells lots of stories, but frankly, he tells too many stories to keep track of.The whole class is a story about something random, and then always tries to secretly tie it back to a law term. most students slept/were on the comp during class. you will zone out.not a very clear or helpful professor. tests hard

By far the best professor I have ever had! He makes law so interesting and even though I took it as a 3 hour class I still look forward to it every week. The exams are hilarious and he goes over pretty much everything that's on them in the notes.

This is by far one of my favorite classes I've taken at Chapman. He knows what he's talking about, and is always available. Often he has trial so he brings to the class real world discussions.

I knew absolutely nothing about law so I knew this class would be a challenge, but Professor Jolly was soo entertaining in all of his lectures that it was hard not to like the class. As long as you study you'll be fine, but Jolly definitely goes over everything that will be on the exams (which are also hilarious)

He's a great teacher and absolutely hilarious. He keeps the three hour class really entertaining and uses real life examples in all of his cases. The only bad thing is that his tests are hard with the multiple choice, but he gives you a pretty good idea of what's going to be on it. If you're going to take this class, take it with him!!

This professor is such a great guy. He tells tons of valuable stories that go beyond the text. He is real with his students and wants them to succeed. I've enjoyed the opportunity to spend 3 hours every Wednesday with him. You need to read the textbook to do really well on the tests. So say we all.

He does what he can with the material during class. But everything else, from unclear notes to his odd, unhelpful use of the textbook made the class too difficult. Also, he had difficulties keeping up with his own schedule for the class, as tests and projects were either delayed or cancelled, making the grade solely dependent on only a few tests.

Really cool guy who tells a lot of stories and relates material well to real life. But he goes off on too many tangents and the tests seem intent on tricking you.
