Comment:

Everyone had raving reviews so I was really excited for this class with Cathy and was left disappointed. She was easily sidetracked and wasted class time. She's nice and will help you when you need it, but only if you show her you're 100% dedicated to the class. She takes off massive amounts of points for one wrong answer.

Loved this class. Loved the book/online homework format. Loved, loved, loved Cathy. Sweet lady who was funny and witty and really made the challenging stuff less challenging. Knows the power of a good pat on the back. I would have taken her more if she taught what I needed.

The best math teacher ever. Wish I would have had a teacher like this when I first learned math. May have fell in love with math if the instructor would have been as down to earth and helpful as professor Aune.

Comment:

I took Cathy for both 70 & 95 she is hilarious and an awesome math professor. She really loves teaching and will help enjoy learning math. Homework is a must do if you want a good grade. The only down side is that you get marked down on quizzes for minor mistakes. So be very careful with your answers but such an enjoyable professor!

Cathy is very helpful when you go visit during office hours. She does want you to be successful in math. She is a little confusing in class because she goes off on different subjects to help you with the material but to some can be kind of confusing. Overall she's a very nice lady and knows how to do math very well.

Cathy is awesome! She has a great sense of humor, her lectures are very clear, and she's extremely helpful. Very easy to work with outside of class. Great for self-esteem. I used to think I was bad at math, but Cathy's MTH 95 class really helped me to see that I'm good at it!

She is easy if you show up to class and study before the tests, she gives homework quizes-all you have to do is your homework and show up. She does in-class assignments and says the only rule is there are no rules-you can ask her for help, other students for help, anything you want. She's great.
