Comment:

Dr. Taylor is a really smart and funny guy. He grades a bit tough but if you listen to his feedback and go in for help your grade will benefit. He often goes on long and random tangents during lectures. He does mention his politics sometimes so it may be annoying if you don't agree with him. Overall, he really is a nice and knowledgeable guy.

At first, I avoided Dr. Taylor's class because of his terrible ratings on this site. But after taking him, I honestly don't know why people don't like him. He's an incredibly caring professor who is willing to work with his students to help them succeed. Easily one of the nicest professors at Berry.

Wouldn't ever take him again. Took this for an online foundations course and it was awful. While the class was bad already add Dr. Taylor's lack of professionalism and EXTREME p erverted comments takes it to the extreme. I am so thankful this was online b/c I cant even imagine the comments he would make in person especially to girl students

Okay, here's the tea. He's weird. I'm going to be honest. But he's not that bad, and is actually very understanding and actually kind of sweet. The class wasn't that difficult, and he's a lenient grader. Not that bad as the other reviews make him out to be.

Dr. Taylor sucks. He is creepy, and talks about politics all the time. He also loves to argue with students about politics. His lectures have nothing to do with writing. He drones on and on about nothing. He loves the sound of his own voice way too much. Avoid this man at all costs.

He can be pretty vague in the rubric about what he expects, which some people like, but a lot of people hate. He's open to a lot of writing styles. In RHW102, we read books then had a paper after each book, but more often than not we didn't need to refer to the book in our assigned essay. Not the worst prof but DEFINITELY not the best. Strange guy

Never returns grades. Last day of class I find out he still has not graded one of my papers. Not clear on paper topics and is no help when speaking to him one on one. Talks about sex all the time! Goes off on tangents. Not helpful at all. I reccomend not taking him.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! He makes really creepy jokes and snide comments. He is never in his office during office hours. He does not teach the material on his tests. You never know your grade on anything because he never gives assignments back- assignments that he does give back have checks on them instead of a grade. He is a horrible teacher. STAY AWAY!!

The man may know what he is talking about, however his way of getting it taught is very confusing. I felt like he told you office hours yet he seems to just have as a guideline and that he changes whenever he feels like it. His papers are very obscure which it make it very difficult to understand what exactly you are writing about.

I found class lectures interesting and the tests aren't too bad if you pay attention and study your notes. BUT his paper topics are ridiculously vague and he will not make an effort to help you in any way, even you ask multiple times for clarification. In the end, as interesting as his lectures are, I'd say his classes aren't worth the trouble.

He is horrible. He makes very creepy sexual jokes that are just weird coming from him. He doesn't teach what is on the tests and leaves before you can ask him questions at the end of class. Uses every excuse he can to talk about something ****ed, which is really creepy since he is old and nasty.

His essay prompts are very vague, which allow the students to write about essentially anything. However, if he doesn't agree with your topic, it's best to change to something he likes. In class discussions can be helpful with the writing process. Seeing him during office hours should help with essay grades.

dr. taylor is extremely confusing, his paper topics suck and you can only get a good grade if you agree with his opinions, which seem to change with the weather. he makes you do ridiculous forms of pre-writing that don't help. the only good part of the class was when we got 2 weeks off when he stubbed his toe on a pumpkin

I hate this class! Prof. Taylor is insane. If he isn?t talking on and on about unnecessary topics then he is flirting with any student that has a low cut shirt on.
