I failed 2 chem classes before I found Mrs. Applegate. She cuts the fat and junk from lectures, so anything you learn during lecture you WILL USE on the test. The lectures aren't too heavy, notes are VERY organized. Tests are difficult but if you practice and study you will be fine. She is always willing to help, but you have to put in the work.

Applegate was amazing! She's tough and expects you to put in the effort. In this course you have to stay on top on of everything, but she is very clear on what is due and what is needed. She is always willing to help, posts office hours, answers her emails and goes the extra mile, but only if you do!

She is absolutely the best professor I have ever had and probably ever will. I took her for Accelerated Bio,Org,Inorganic Chem and it was a ton of material. However, she made it easy to understand and comprehend everything you needed to know. Make sure you show up to lectures because it is worth it and a great opportunity to bring up questions.

Great professor - makes difficult concepts seem easy and understandable. Lectures are always worth attending. Tests are relevant, all questions are well-thought out. Half multiple choice, half written (equations, etc.). Purpose of the course is to prepare you for the HESI (nursing school entrance exam), which it does very well. Best prof I've had.

Professor Applegate is a wonderful teacher. I took the condensed chemistry class with her. The material is a lot to cover in such a short amount of time but professor Applegate makes sure you know everything you need to for her tests. She makes sure you have many resources to learn the material and she is always available for further help.

Cindy Applegate is an awesome professor. I took a condensed course with her and I never felt lost or confused. She is always willing to help and wants you to do well. She can be a little frustrating during labs, just because there are a lot of procedures that are important to follow. But lectures are amazing.

Mrs. Applegate is a professional and intelligent professor. She is also one of the nicest people you'll meet. She works fast so pay attention, but she is thorough and gives you all the information you need. She is accessible outside of class. Don't expect to pass without trying though, she teaches tough classes.

She took the time to come with me to my advisor, as she wasn't sure if I was in the right chemistry class for my major. Right away I could tell how much she cared. Her lecture style is precise, clear, and to the point, but expects you to put in the work outside of class. Gives you resources and expects you to really utilize them. Outstanding prof.

Applegate Neely. I had Neely as a sub and she wasn't very clear. Her class was also behind. Applegate, however, is amazing! She has the best notes, which are in outline format. She makes things clear and easy to understand. You don't need to buy the book. Just buy the code and you'll have access to extra credit and health notes! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Chemistry is hard don't get me wrong, but she is great. She literally will not continue lecture until she is assured that every student understands the concept(s) before moving on. She assigns a lot of homework and take home assignments but they are so helpful when it comes to quizzes and tests. Loved her so much I considered switching my major!!

Applegate is a phenomenal instructor. I took her for the accelerated Gen, Organic, Biochem class. First of all, you have to attend every day. But the good news is that she is a fantastic lecturer. The entire test comes straight from the notes she gives out in class! As long as you moderately study for this class, you'll be good. Good luck!
