Mr. Saylor is a very understanding teacher and will help to make sure you pass his class as long as you do your work. He explained every section well enough to understand to when it comes to your tests. I definitely recommend him as a teacher.

Comment:

If you are afraid of calculus class and want to learn without being too pressured this is the guy for you. He makes it impossible for you to fail as long as you try and complete your work. He is very responsive to emails and is a very fair grader to say the least. I would recommend Mr. Saylor to anyone for calculus.

Dale Saylor is a very caring professor he genuinely wants you to pass his class and is always willing to help and meet with you even with his busy schedule. His lectures are a little hard to understand however the homework is easy and he gives you the answers on the back to review your answers before turning it in! Hw is often times the tests.

His lectures are painful to sit through, and at the beginning of the semester, we had 50-100 mandatory hw problems a night. He also makes way too many awful jokes. Get ready for assigned seating, and if your last name starts with an A, B, or C prepare to suffer because he asks significantly more questions to the front row.

Great professor! Emails you all the work and when its due. Not a lot of homework assigned just minitab exercises and the tests. Pay attention and do the assigned work, easy A. Always willing to meet outside of class for any help.

Bruh, this guy is the WORST pre-calculus teacher EVER! We were given a take home test and the entire class got a different answer but everyone got it right. I had no idea how I would do the entire semester. The homework is easy. Just take the answers from the back of the book. The only good thing is that his homework is a life-saver, LITERALLY.

I am terrible at math. I wasn't afraid to take a college level math under a professor that I knew nothing about. I must say, Professor Saylor is a true gem. He tells you exactly what he wants you to know and even gives study guides. His office Is always open if you need any help. he can be hard to follow at times but still awesome!

if youre not good at math hes not good at teaching it but hes very nice. I should made a D but made B in the class. always attend class so yoou dont fall behind. the study guides are identical test. He gives extra credit opportunities and homework. you will need the book

Class is extremely easy. Gives take-home tests and reviews that are identical to tests. Also gave a group and open-note test. Uses slides to teach math and does not work problems to help understand. Attendance counts so you need to go. Notes are useless, but he does not use the book. Worst professor i've ever had. I'd never take him again.

Easiest math class you can take he messed up on putting the grades on blackboard averaging all the grades together so even though i didnt do good on tests still wound up with an A because homework counted same amout ast tests and i pointed it out to him but he didnt care i also turned in my homework late all the time

He is a hard teacher to understand, says one thing and then says another the next day. He gives you busy work just to do something. He gets confused sometimes and does not know what he is talking about himself. He makes you a do a paper; it is math class, not english. He has a lot of knowledge about the calculator though. I would not take him again

Can sometimes get confusing but he will help you as long as you look for help. Also his reviews and problems in class are almost identical to the test questions which helps greatly. Very good teacher. 9 out of 10

If you have Saylor for Calculus 122. Stay in it. don't drop out. In the first week i wanted to drop, thought i would fail. He gave us take home test and quizes later and I ended up passing with an A. confusing at times, and hard not to sleep but just deal with it and you will do fine.

OMG...he was the WORST teacher i ever had. I only went so that I could get a grade in his class. His voice is annoying and put me to sleep each class so because I am good in math. I taught myself. Whenever I tuned in he confused me. He teaches slow..talks slow and gets his OWN problems WRONG. Try to avoid if you can.

Horrilbe teacher! I ended up having mono during his class and was out for the last 3 weeks. he lied to me and said i could retake a test then at last minute said no and put down a zero. his grading is never consistant and he is extremely boring. take someone with a better rating!!!
