Took him forever to respond to emails. His voice made the lectures even more boring.

Dr. Swenson is super nice. This class isn't too challenging. Just put in the work and you'll be fine. There are a couple of case studies, so be prepared to work in a small group for that.

Dan seems like a really nice guy! But teaching over zoom or heavily online is definitely not his thing. He's pretty bland and the lectures don't match examples in the book at all so when you look to the book for additional help you won't find much. There are group problems due almost every week and so far none of his lectures have helped with those

ACC 350 can be difficult, but Professor Swenson does his best to try and teach the material. There are 3 multiple choice exams and he gives out study guides to help you get a better grasp on what to expect. There is also a group project that focuses on case studies from the real industries. Start early so you can ask questions, it really helps.

Very nice man. Clear, organized lectures. Easily accessible outside of class. There are exercises in class that count for points. 3 tests, but he gives plenty of practice problems. You can drop one assignment. Gives +/-. Doesn't curve. Just put in the work, and it's an easy A.

Swenson is your typical accountant, very bland, but a nice person. He replies to emails when it's too late or not at all and does a poor job of answering questions in class. I think he understands the topics really well in his head but he does a poor job of directly, clearly answering ?'s. Don't try to understand the content, just memorize to pass.

Professor Swenson as a person is interesting. His lectures were okay. One semester group project based on one of several cases with quiz and class discussion. He grades on participation in it. Tests were difficult with 70% on average for all 3, but they are only worth half of the total class points. Expect to easily get 100% on homework each week.

I like him as a person, really laid back and will help you if you ask for it. However, he's slow to grade and I'm not positive I've learned all that much from the class. His tests are a bit confusing and not sure how helpful his study guides are. But again, will help you if you ask for it and exams aren't as much as you think.

This class is basically a repeat of ACC242, and it's not hard if you do the classwork. Swenson is a nice guy, but he can be a little boring. Most points are super easy to earn, HW and reflections can get 100% easy. The tests have questions that can be vague, but they are doable. 1 group project, 3 tests, 5 quizzes, 4 reflections, and 10 HW

Swenson is such a nice guy. I felt that he truly carried about me as a student. I think the subject itself is boring, but he tries to make it interesting with case studies and stuff.

I took this class after dropping it the first time since I did really bad and knew I would fail. I think having him as the professor really helped. I definitely understood it way easier when he did it. It's definitely a boring class, but I think he was a good teacher for the subject. Only 3 tests including final so study as best you can.

This class was a fairly easy A. Just be sure to partipate during case presentations. The tests were also pretty easy. Only studied the day before the test and got As on all of them. Also show up to class as there can sometimes be in class assignments. Not many of them, but they do add up. I skipped a few times and received an A- instead of A in cla

Nice guy but not the best professor I have ever had. However, he gives a lot of practice problems which I appreciate rather than just lecturing the whole class period. He also tries to do some fun group projects. He sometimes has quizzes after teaching the lectures and in class assignments but they are easy. Pretty easy class in my opinion.

You can't blame the professor for accounting being a boring topic. He tries hard to give real world examples he experienced actually working in the accounting field. He is also very good at making sure everyone understands the material before moving on. The group projects are not that difficult. The tests are also a fair amount of difficulty.

He loves to read off the power points, is very dry in lectures, and when we worked on group worksheets he would come around to "help" but not give us any real feedback as to what we were doing right or wrong. Very nice guy in general, he's just a typical accountant. He would rather have the class teach then him teach the class. Tests were hard.

Boring lectures, basically reads off the powerpoint slides. Won't show you how things are done, just tells you what the answer is and expects you to figure it out - even when you ask for help he won't tell you what you did wrong. Posts practice problems online but doesn't post the answers so you can't check your work. Nightmare of a class.

Gets by with minimum. His teaching offers very little. Wast of my hard earned money to attend this class. He comes across VERY RESENTFUL towards ASU. It felt like he was taking it on his students.

Lectures are VERY VERY dry. This class as a whole is boring, so I'm not sure if any teacher could make it interesting. Lots of in class assignments, article write ups, one case write up and presentation on that. Fairly simple.
