Whitwell may be very learned and accomplished. He has a terrible personality and ego as well. His reviews for exams are horrid and not helpful at all. He's pretty rude if you try to talk to him one on one. He is quite chauvinistic and only out to make himself look good. Overall, a very strange person.

All the people ****ing about Whitwell are just mad because he probably failed them. If you actually show up and take notes, and are not stupid, you will be fine. He is very interesting and fun to listen to. Best part of this class: you dont have to buy a book. Take this professor over kim.

This guy is a living music encyclopedia. If you go to to class, take notes, and look over your notes, you will be fine. Don't show up late or talk when he is talking; he might drop you from his class right then and there. I've seen it almost happen three times. Great teacher.

This guy is not by any means an easy teacher. You have 3 grades: midterm, final, listening exam. I particularly enjoyed it but maybe I'm a mutant. Very intellectual and an articulate speaker. Take notes, do the listening, and show up.
