He's a great man. Very respectable with lots of experience in the field. Beautiful belt buckle and very personable. One of the easiest classes I've taken, and I learned a lot in the process.

Not only is he the most precious old man ever, he is the sweetest man ever. His lectures may be a great time to nap because his voice is so soothing, but he really is an interesting guy. I love his belt buckle and his overall kindness. He is THE best ANTH professor I've ever had.

One of the preeminent minds in North American Archaeology, the man is a walking legend. A great professor and an all around nice guy. Pay attention and learn and you will want to be an archaeologist by the end of it.

The online course was so hard. We would have 100+ pages of notes to read for each test. He would then test us on info that was mentioned briefly in a paragraph. How are we supposed to remember things like "Which of the following did these people not eat"?

I did a research project with Dr. Snow in the archaeology lab, and it was by far one of my favorite classes I've ever taken! It was great hands-on experience, and he's got so many stories about his life and the adventures he's been on. He's also really helpful and doesn't mind explaining things.

The class was boring but Prof.Snow makes it interesting with his stories and cool personality. This is a group work oriented class, so if you don't like working in groups don't go in this class. The grading was not fully explained nor how the group evalutions were used in the grading.

Intro Archaeology web class: Very difficult entry level course. Material is extensive, although the syllabus stated the material would be general. Weekly tests and weekly problems can be tricky. Online exams are given with a time limit;not enough time is allocated. Very hard intro level class. Pick something else if you can; easy to fail.

Took this class because it is online. BIG MISTAKE! Course material is extensive with a quiz due at the end of each week. Terribly difficult exams with a time limit that forces a rush toward the end of every one. DO NOT TAKE ONLINE!

Do not take this class. Seems attractive because it's online, but trust me, it isn't worth it. The amount of detail that you are expected to memorize out of the countless lessons is tremendous. Countless students are messaging each other on Angel about their struggles and asking for advice on how to study. Stay away.

I thought this web class would be a breeze, but I was wrong. Each week theres 14-15 pgs of reading which doesnt seem like alot, but for the tests those pgs add up.The online tests are hard.I read the chapters&took notes but w/ the time limit&hard questions I still did poorly.Only take this class if its the last option, dean snow provides no extra credi

Online Version. This course requires approximately 20 to 40 pages of reading per week, 10 question MC quiz on ANGEL for the reading, and a 5 question subjective problem assignment per week. Several questions for exams are directly from quizes, but some are very difficult. Class average was a 79% for Fall 07 but there was a small curve (at least 3%)
