He is VERY hard to understand, and does not attempt to re explain anything when the whole class does not understand. I went to his office hours and he was extremely unhelpful. Gives quizzes once a week and alot of online hw. Would not recommend, especially if math is not your thing

Comment:

I will be honest. Do not take him! I got an A but learned nothing. If you are looking to learn do not take, if you are looking for an easy class DO NOT take. He makes mistakes in class. He teaches abstract math and that hardly relates to homework. Tests are multiple choice and all proofs. He rarely does examples in class.

Comment:

This class is kinda a pain in the butt. Concepts that are simple when you break them down appear so much more difficult when explained during lecture. His notes are all examples which sound great at first but really don't help you understand the skills you need to do well on the exams. I feel like I'm teaching myself more than he is teaching me.

He's a risky teacher. I'm an honors student, never got below an A in math and I am now worried about not passing his class. Beware the tests. Multiple choice sounds nice, but you get one wrong and you're almost down a letter grade. No credit for work on that section. Very confusing lectures. Only thing saving me is webwork, which is kinda sad.

He's a brilliant guy that genuinely does want to see his students pass, but the class was just short of a nightmare. Difficult tests, lots of homework.

Extremely unhappy with this professor and his teaching style. I feel more confused by his lectures than if I just taught myself and not attended class at all. I love math and I am happy to put in the extra work but his class is a joke. He makes learning a pain and talks to students like we are below him, and he never explains his reasonings.

Awful experience. He goes to fast and if you didn't catch something you will be behind. A lot of quizzes. Tests are not difficult, but he still makes it tough.

He is one of the worst professors I have had. I am a 4.0 student and the only reason I most likely won't be getting an A in this class is because of his bad teaching skills. He doesn't answer in class questions clearly, mumbles his bad explanations, and does not give you study guides for the test. AVOID IF POSSIBLE

do not take this professor! He is a very nice man, but he is very unhelpful in terms of you trying to ask questions. His lessons are also very hard to understand. He does not really take attendance, but even going to class is pointless because you have to learn it all yourself. Please do yourself a favor and take any other professor ever.

Worst Professor ever - math was so fun until this class. Showing up to class is pointless, I could honestly teach myself out of the book - because thats all he goes off of, although the book even explains it more better then he does. The way he explains, is completely confusing. I went into this class knowing some and left knowing nothing.

For every chapter, you have two questions to answer. To get full credit you need to quote the book and try and include a quote from the TED Talk video. There are also 6 case studies. Exams: gives two questions per chapter but you only pick 1 per chapter, essay format. Include quotes for full points.

One of the worst professors I have at at uwgb. Literally teaches and tests from the book and his tests are really difficult. He does offer extra credit as quizzes and a paper. I failed all 3 exams and still came out with an AB.

Not impressed at all with his teaching style... if he even has a style, that is. Very confusing and his exams are impossible. I studied so hard the first exam and got a D. He literally picks the smallest details from the book and tests on them. And his mind maps? Yeah, don't count on getting any feedback about them. What a waste of my time and GPA.
