Comment:
POSC 295 sucks no matter what you do. The class is inherently hard especially if you aren't good at stats. Chenoweth is one of those professors who will do anything to help you get the best grade you can. I really enjoyed the class and despite not getting the best grade, I still was thankful that it was Chenoweth who taught it. Just work hard!

I heard horror stories about 295 but I love going to this class! She is always willing to help and very helpful in office hours. She breaks down your paper and makes it really easy to understand. Be warned second test will be hard but, she will tell you that herself and prepare you well for it. If you have to take 295 take her!

She's so nice! She loves the class, and is willing to help you if you go to her office hours right before class. The class itself is hard, and she does her best to make it easier. Most of the grade is from the research paper, which she grades very easily. I highly suggest her!

Great teacher, absolutely loved her. Really tough class, but you're required to take it...that being said, TAKE HER! It's not that she's super easy, but she was so chill and helpful. Splits up the big research paper into 3 parts which really helps. Always answers emails & is willing to help whenever. one of my favorite prof, despite the hard class

TAKE HER! This class quickly became my favorite even with the work load. She makes a massive research paper tolerable and is always willing to help if you don't understand something. You will have to work very hard in this class but you find that you're proud of yourself at the end. Favorite professor by far.

She is SO nice. Very helpful with everything. Paper is broken up into three easy parts that she outlines for you on blackboard. Just go to lab and lab quizzes are an easy 100. Take her over anyone for 295! One of the easier POSC classes I've taken.

This is class is misserable but Deanne is wonderful! she only teaches 295 so she is dedicated to helping you out. She breaks the paper down to 3 parts so its not all due at once which makes it way easier. DEFINITELY take her over sulfaro.

Hard class. I mean, its a really hard class. It will just wear you down and make you want to end the semester early. But she's got a good handle on it. Paper isn't too bad because she breaks it down and is willing to help you on it. Going to class helps. Seek her help outside the classroom too. Don't worry, a C in her class is GOOD. Take her!

This class will not be easy no matter who you have, but she is MUCH easier than Sulfaro. She will go out of her way to help you and will match your enthusiasm for assignments. Put in the work, and you will get an A. Her lectures are clear and concise. Take her and POSC 295 will be much easier than with any other teacher. Strongly recommended.

No matter who you have this class will suck. It will drain all happiness you have in your life for the semester. Divides paper up into manageable sections. Willing to talk after class. In between assignments its pretty laid back, but its extremely boring. From experience and what I have heard she is one of the better ones to take for 295.

This is not an easy class, so no matter who you have, you will have to work. She will work with you to see it through that you do ok. Put in some effort, and she'll help you out. Paper is really hard though, so don't put anything off until the last minute or you will burn out. Recommended more than other teachers who teach this course.

Unwilling to discuss grades in class. Show up to final without knowledge of what your grade is. Very unflexible with office hours. Never on campus. She has good knowledge, but has trouble explaining it. Very hard to get in contact with. TOO MUCH WORK, Ridiculous grading, acts like PhD students

TOO MUCH WORK. Too much is crammed into one semester that it is hard to understand everything. She's a great, enthusiastic teacher but she piles on so much that it is hard to comprehend everything. Make sure you do your work!

295 is a hard class, but she makes it so much fun. She is very enthusiastic and is extremely helpful. Has a new baby and loves to talk about her. She knows that we don't want to be there and still tries her best to make it fun.
