I really enjoyed Pat and she helped me improve as a painter in just one semester. If you work hard, she will love you and help you a lot. However if you don't paint she will call you out on it. Great lady!

Alexander is an example of an artist from a time gone by - she does have experience in public art and she is an artist who has found happiness in her career. She was not the teacher I signed up for, but I found her support refreshing. Given the choice to take a class with her again - I probably wouldn't.

I had pat 2 years ago, I have spent the last 2 years of my life trying to recover my art from the psychological trauma Pat put me through. She completely tried to break me down as a painter to be a ridiculous clone of her work. She destroyed my confidence. I swore I would never paint again after her class. I finally have that I love painting again

Vapid. Useless crits. Stuck in her own world. Don't try to make anything controversial, she won't like it. All of her critiques are just trying to bring your work to something she likes. Sacrifice your own work for a semester and make an A, I did.

terrible teacher. I am a very serious painter and an A student and this **** told me I should drop out of school because I wouldn't find what I was looking for in college. She gave me a very good grade but I didn't learn anything from her. she isn't even a painter, why the hell is she teaching painting? avoid her...
