Comment:

Easy class because she lets you resubmit papers, because if that wasnt allowed this would be a nightmare. Shes very picky about papers, but the resubmit thing completely relieves that. The weekly assignments were easy. You need to buy 2 books and a $20 app (dumb) but it is very easy after that. The class is work heavy, but it's easy just do work

At first, it does seem daunting at how much homework there is, but the Professor makes it easy to follow and keep up each week. There are a few papers to write and a research paper, but it's only as hard as you make it. She offers unlimited rewrites as long as you turn it in before the due date. I wish I had taken her for my other English Classes.

You will read about 100-120 pages each week, and write at least 10 pages of responses + a research paper over the term. BUT you get to choose from a plethora of topics. She allows unlimited rewrites, and her feedback is invaluable. I rewrote at least half my papers and received 100 on the those.

In my first week I had 6 assignments to turn it! Plus we had to read 2 book and basically all the reading and stuff its not that interesting. MLA including and the research paper its a nightmare

Her instructions in her modules are not clear whatsoever. 7 Writing Assignments and 1 God awful Research Paper. This class is work for days and she is a super tough grader, highest writing assignment grade I got was a 87. Not worth the struggle find someone else.

Prof. Berry was great. She made a boring topic interesting. She also made sure that while there was a lot of homework, it was useful practice. Also, she personally speaks to you when it comes to responses for your papers, and gives you chances to improve your grade on those papers.

I took her 4 week, summer, English 102 Course. Yes there is a ton of course work in a short amount of time, but it is doable. I learned more in 4 weeks than I learned in my full semester 101 class. You can tell she truly cares about her students. She gives you so many tools to use. Her feedback was awesome and truly helpful.

Professor Berry gives a lot of work to do! However, she may be the most lenient teacher I have ever met when it comes to deadlines. As long as you have everything in by the last day of school it's okay. I've never finished a textbook before and for her class I did 2!!! Always unlimited rewrites of everything as well!

This course has so much reading. I mean so much reading. Also, so many papers. There is an MLA paper that needs to be turned in before you can actually participate in the course. There is also a 6-8 page research/final paper. Normally that wouldn't bother me if I didn't have to write 10 other 2-3 page papers in addition.

Comment:

Professor Berry is awesome and gives great feedback. There is a ton of homework for the course. You have to do the work if you expect to pass. I actually had a good cry(aka breakdown) from shock at the amount of homework. The class is great and the professor works with you on late assignments. Total of 3 papers are assigned for the semester.

The amount of homework was a little outrageous for the majority of the course. Toward the end, maybe the last four weeks, it was manageable. The good thing about this course is that you can turn in homework as late as you want and can still receive full credit. She gives feedback on essays and allows you to rewrite them to receive a better grade

There is literally over 200 assignments, but the good thing is you work at your own pace & you can re-write papers for better grades. You can turn in assignments late without being docked off points. There are 4 papers that include doing 3 peer reviews on classmates, weekly journals, so much reading, in class pop quizzes taken with iClicker.

Took this professor on a four week section. This was a lot of work! She makes it a lot easier though, answers emails quickly, and grades even quicker. Rewrites are allowed for better grades as long as the paper is turned in early.

Best teacher if you need to work on your editing. She allows unlimited rewrites as long as you get your paper in early. She edits everything and tells you where you are missing things. Also, her weekly tests have also the answers posted on Quizlet.

This class, while it has a heavy workload, is still enjoyable! There is a LOT of reading and writing, so just make sure you have the time for it. Professor Berry allows rewrites to improve your grade, and her feedback is always clear and helpful. She's also really funny! Remember to participate in discussions. This is a good class for writers.

Comment:

Women's studies! you might think you're in her English class. The workload is stupid crazy. She uses the same lesson plan for English as she does women's studies so get ready to do 10 one page response papers and a 5 page research paper. If you are a auditory learner or a visual learner this isn't the class for you.

The class was interesting. But there is a lot of reading and you get one week to finish it. You write a lot of essays. You also have to participate in discussions. It takes a while for her to reply back to messages. The work load for this class was crazy. The assigned books weren't on sparknotes which I didn't mind but context was confusing a lot.

This teacher is honestly amazing, her way of going about ENG 102 is not convoluted at all. She is VERY clear on what she expects for each assignment. And, if you do not understand, email her she respond quickly! There is a lot of work but she is not too strict about it. Late workone less opportunity to re-submit assignments out of 100.
