Be prepared to actually do the reading and take notes that you can rely on for tests/quizzes. The math that we do applies for all future papers too, so be sure you can do it by hand and by SPSS (data software). Great practice for future thesis papers. Fairbank is always ready to answer any question you may have and help you understand to succeed.

She is by far my favorite professor I have had!!!! She is so funny and makes the class so enjoyable and fun. I had her for two classes this semester and I am for sure going to try and take more with her. She is super laid back and you don't do much. Take any class with her, you won't regret it!!!

Dr. Fairbank is a wonderful psychology professor. I had her for PSY 301 Research Methods and will have her again for another semester, which I am definitely not complaining about! She is very caring, yet very honest about your work if she thinks it needs improvement in some areas. Her TA is very easy to reach and helps so much if given enough time.

Fairbank is AMAZING. She will answer any question you have and usually help you on a test or quiz if you're confused. She makes the class fun, shes silly and funny but very helpful. I wish she could teach all of my classes. I highly recommend taking all the Psych courses with her you can. Also, she gives a lot of extra credit.

I have had fb for three courses. she is an extremely intelligent women who is very understanding of students. I have high respect for her. she succeeds in making challenging subjects/courses as low stress as possible. she has an excellent sense of humor and has an outstanding ability to listen and compensate for everyone while maintaining fairness

I took this class online over the summer of '11. Absolutely horrid. I've never had this professor in person by her online class exceeds the word "demanding". Also the tests are filled with random questions from the book. Even though I read the chapter I can't memorize where everything is at. This was a horrible online course.

Dr. Fairbank is one of the nicest teachers at Meredith. She's extremely helpful and understanding. She's willing to work with you if you go talk to her and explain why you're having problems. She does get distracted sometimes but she's also willing to move tests if the class feels they don't know something. She's a fun teacher to have.

She is the Best Professor I have ever had. She is clear and funny...sometimes she rambles. But she always go back on task. I love Dr. Fairbank! I have had her for stats, research methods, and exceptional. She is very helpful and really just wants the best for all her students. She will DEF help you as long as you are honest and want help, just don't try to bullsh*t her. She offers TONS of extra credit (on one test I had 11 points extra)!

AMAZING, by far the best professor i have ever had a class with! She knows her stuff, and will explain it as much as you need, she'll help you with ANYTHING, and her teaching style is one of the BEST in the psych department! i loved her, she made psy 200 & 300 the best experience :D
