Great professor! Econ isn't the most interesting subject and there aren't that many ways to make it interesting but Goodman is so knowledgeable and passionate!

Easy class. He just repeats the same information from the book and can talk about it forever! We actually got behind in the lectures, because he talked so long. If you do and understand the homework (which is easy) you'll ace pretty-much everything!

His lectures aren't the most interesting, but you can tell he likes his students. He can make some pretty funny comments now and then, especially outside of class. Be prepared since he will call on you in class. Sometimes he explains things quickly, and you get quizzed on the things that he just taught.

He was pretty boring and just lectures during every class. I thought econ would be kinda interesting, but I gave up halfway through the semester. HW easy, tests are tough. Staying awake and absorbing his lecture is near impossible.

Goodman is great! He makes the funniest comments in class, which help make a boring lecture not so boring anymore. He's also really easy to talk to. He didn't give much homework for this class, but his tests made you think

Doug tends to lecture without engaging the class, but if you make a point to talk in class & go to his office hours, he'll appreciate it and warm up to you. Tests have some tricky questions, so make sure you can think outside the box w/material. Overall not too hard of a class if you put in a little work.

Goodman's classes were not the most interesting of classes but he did supply a steady flow of information. This was not always good because he would tend to repeat things untill they became confusing again since he would explain one thing too many ways. He is a fair grader and tries to help you understand the material.

Doug isn't the funniest teacher, but he does make some pretty funny comments every now and then. He is a very good professor. The workload is light, but not too easy.

Goodman's a good proffessor! I liked his class a lot. Try to get this guy, if you can. If you do get him, make sure to do the reading and get 100%'s on the quizzes for an A, but that's pretty hard.

Goodman is a good man. He will often end class early, his TA provided us with juice and doughnuts, and his homework is light and simple. However, his tests can be surprisingly difficult unless you have done the reading. He wont cover things clearly in lecture, but can clarify misunderstandings quickly. He gets really excited about econ too.

He is a great teacher! He uses powerpoint a lot, so everything is clear, and its easy to catch up if you miss a day. His classes are pretty structured, quizes and tests are all formatted the same. If you buy the addt'l study guide most questions are right out of it. This format goes for most of his classes like money and banking and Macro. All three are great!
