Drew is one of those rare professors that invests his time in students when they are struggling. Rather than giving up and watching them fail, Drew is ready to help if they want the help. He's a tough-ass for sure- be prepared to question your own intelligence during his exams, but you learn a lot by the end of the semester.

Drew is hands-down the best professor at Sarah Lawrence. I was only focusing on humanities at SLC but taking biology with Drew made want to learn more about biology. His lectures feel like seminars and he clearly explains the material he is teaching . He also wears a sweat pair of Merrells.

Drew is extremely helpful and genuinely cares about helping students understand the material. The class is challenging, but he's always willing to help students outside of class and he's very friendly. I would definitely take another class with him!

He's been my professor for only 2 months and he has easily become one of my favorite professors at SLC. He is hilariously sarcastic and cynical, which keeps our 9am class entertaining. He truly cares about his student's well-doing in his class and will do anything to help them understand his material.

Truly the best science faculty member out there. He's charming, inspiring, charismatic and hilarious. He's willing to go above and beyond to help his students learn the material. You can tell he truly loves his job, which makes the class much more entertaining. If you have the chance, take the class with him. A true gem.

I didn't actually have Drew for a class, but I met with him to see if he could aid me in a project I was working on, and, wow! What a wonderful man! Even though I wasn't his student, he always remembered my name and was always willing to chat, even though he had a first year studies class and was super busy. Wonderful man, and cute, too!
