Dr. Brown is a really nice person and easy grader. Her Children's Literature class though is just an awful lot of work. You have to read like two books a week and there's just so much writing. If you think this being an online class would be easy, you're wrong. That's what I thought and boy was I mistaken.

She is the head of the English department but she is the nicest, sweetest professor at NYIT. Take her at any chance you can get. Her syllabus is clear and concise, and if you do you work, participate, and are on time to class, you will get an A.

She is truly amazing. Took Dr. Brown for speech and she gives amazing feedback. This class is mainly about your speeches and presentations, but they were so interesting and I truly did learn a lot..

Children's Literature was a great class. Easy work, read a chapter and explain it... there are 3 papers & one research paper. I needed help with two& dr.brown helped me with no hesitation. Shes very intelligent and truly knows whats shes talking about. Would take her again in a heartbeat. :)

Dr. Brown IS the head of the English Department. However, she is a total sweetheart. Just do the assigned readings, show up to class on time, participate in class discussions and turn OFF your stupid phone. Go to the Writing Center at Baldwin House BEFORE handing in term papers. Her grading is not random; it's a reflection of your effort. Easy A!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I don't know what the person underneath me is talking about??? POSITIVE ENERGY exudes from this instructor. Knowledgeable, well-rounded, reasonable professor. She is big on manners, attendance and punctuality. Lots of reseach required! Fair grading policies. However, her Philsophy Class should be 4 credits instead of 3 credits.

She was very bad professor she was very judgemental about me. I wrote papers in this class which were better then everyone else's and still got a C- in this class. While other students copied and pasted there entire paper they all received an A. No point of working hard in this class because at the end you get screwed over

She's a good teacher, who has a lot of patience, and is willing to work with each individual to make sure they get the best possible grade. She doesn't assign a lot of work, and she's an easy grader. I would definately reccommend her.
