Professor Stohl is a great human being and mentor. She teaches her students to become unique and amazing teachers in the future. There are lots of group projects, which can be overwhelming sometimes, but nothing too difficult. She sometimes gives super easy quizzes! Just attend her class meetings and do the group projects, that's it!

Fantastic and caring professor who's ready to work with you no matter what. Hefty workload, but one that's worth it for the satisfaction of seeing your comprehensive portfolio at the end. Textbook provided, weekly reading quizzes, and PLENTY of group projects (but trust meyou'll appreciate the help). Great class for future educators!

Stohl is definitely on my top 5 out of 30+ professors I had at CSUN. I have a disability myself, and this class reinforced my views of society and how they have treated people with disabilities. There are a ton of assignments, but they are totally doable. Oh ya, you also need to complete 30 service learning hours! Make sure you make the time for it

Professor Stohl is incredibly kind and very passionate. Her class is super interesting and pretty casual. There is quite a bit of work but it is interesting and very fairly graded. This class in particular requires 30 service learning hours outside of class with an approved organization, if you're not down for that you can't take the class.

This class was fun but a lot of work. She definetly piles stuff on but is super nice about deadlines and will extend it for u without docking any points. Professor Stohl is extremely nice and wants the best for her students. For this class u basically spend the entire semester building a portfolio which is filled with activities and papers.

I absolutely loved Professor Stohls class. She helped build a community within her classes and it really helps. You will work with a group often for certain assignments and during class. She is very inspirational and has a great sense of humor. You will learn a lot in her class that you will be able to apply in the Education field.

Professor Stohl, is a wonderful Lady. Her assignments are straightforward, and she will explain things to you as many times as you ask. She sometimes goes off topic, but it's usually somewhat relevant. You will succeed in her class as long as you do the assignments.

She was very intimidating on the first day of class. I almost decided to go into a different class but I am so thankful that I didn't. She was by far one of the best professors I have ever had. Very knowledgable and helpful. There is a lot of work but that's life. I learned so much. Really a great person and Professor. Take this class with her!!!!!

Professor Stohl is an awesome professor! She knows her stuff thick and through. EPC 314 is a lot of work, so be prepared to hand in a lot of assignments. You also have to conduct a case study for 10 hours. It's your final project. Take her, and be prepared to work a lot!

Prof Stohl is AWESOME! Yes, this class has a TON of work, but she is a very entertaining teacher and tries to make it fun. She is very helpful and very lenient if you need time on homework. After taking this class, you will be so critical of other professors teaching styles!

Almost too easy to be considered a class for credits. Prof. Stohl is a really cool lady and really wants everyone to pass. She even jokes about how she doesn't want to see our faces next semester. If you do your work (which is easy) you'll pass. I even got to go to Disneyland and ride around in a wheelchair for credit. Awesome and required.

I don't know what the person below me is saying but I really enjoyed the class! I think she's a wonderful teacher, very sweet and really cares about her students. It is A LOT of work yes, but getting an A is not that hard! She gives a lot of extra credits and lets you make up assignments. I enjoyed having her and would recommend!

I LOVE professor Stohl! She came in and took over my class half way into the semester and at first I was so scared after reading all these reviews, but she really wasn't that bad. She's really understanding, caring and tries to work with the students. Although it's A LOT of work, in the end it all pays back, & it's not that hard getting an A.

This class is pretty hard. The assignments are long but she does give extra time if you need it. Pretty nice lady. You create a portfolio at the end that you can use later on. It's not an easy class!
