Kinsley makes learning the piano fun rather than frustrating. If you are ahead or struggling to learn he will help you. If he notices that you don't really show up to class, he will notice since the room and class size is small. You get what you put into it so use the practice rooms and you will have a blast. Professor Kinsley is honestly really amazing. I once had him as a freshman seminar advisor. He was so laid back it made the class really easy to go to. He also made any "requirements" in the class easy to perform. And he is always willing to help you anytime you need it. You'll absolutely love him.

Professor K is honestly the best professor. Piano is already a fun class but he makes it so much better. He's always glad to see everyone and he knows how to make your day. The only things you need for the class are the piano book (not sold at the book store) and a power adapter. But he gives you time to buy them.

He is so funny and very easy to talk to. He was great at teaching complete beginners how to play a few good songs on piano and more than anything going to his class was relaxing. I would recommend him as an easy and fun professor!

Dr. Kinsley has helped me get through life more than anyone else. He's my piano teacher but he's also kind of my therapist. He's very personable and cares about what's going on in your life. Every week, he asks me about my classes, my family, my relationship, and helps me work out anything I'm struggling with. He's a saint.

Dr. Kinsley is really sincere, and is genuinely interested in helping you to be your best. He doesn't look for talent or skill as much as he looks for effort and improvement. When you walk into class every day, he's always so excited to see each student, almost as if he's genuinely surprised that they showed up! It's adorable. He's great, take him.

i took class piano and it was a very fun and laid back class. you dont have to go to every class and you can still pull off an a. still hes a lot of fun and you really learn a lot. he teaches out of the book but he also likes to add more common songs, like the beatles
