Lectures are easy to understand. He gives good examples and talks about his experiences working with clients with the disorders. Tests are easy to understanding just study the lectures. I rarely ever used the book.

He is very straight forward and gives real-life examples of the people he has worked with. With the transition to online classes, he was very understanding and stopped assigning homework. 3 exams and he will see what questions the class struggled with and drop them. 13 homework assignments.

Great professor! 3 exams so if you study his lecture notes and read the book (minimal) you will pass!

At first I was skeptical and wanted to drop the class, but I am so happy that I didn't. He's an amazing professor and truly cares for his students. He says to read the book for the exams but I had over 100% by just paying attention in class and reviewing his lecture notes.

Hes all over the place, and his tests are a disaster. Hes too quick with his lectures, and the worst with responding to emails. I wouldnt recommend him, and doesnt grade any homework till the end of semester. I emailed him 15 times and no response and he finally responded when he started grading.

Go to class!!! His slides are posted but can be difficult to understand if you weren't in class and don't have context. Much of what we do during lecture involves explanations that require you to be there to hear it. Also, he is fair about analyzing exams to see which questions were good, etc. and eliminating those that aren't

Horrible class. Homework and labs are all over the place. Exams are a disaster. I would not recommend taking this course with this instructor.

Such an easy online class, everything is already set up for you online. You could finish the entire course in one weekend if you're up for that. The only annoying thing he does is not answer emails and he grades everything right before grades are due so you won't know how you're doing until the end. But this class was an easy A and I'd recommend.

He is the most unprepared teacher. He is lazy and never posts homework or test scores. He took weeks to post the power points for the lecture and took it straight out of the textbook. It was the worst class I have taken so far.

Katz is a great professor, he can be a slow grader but after all he is a practicing psychologist and runs a research lab on campus. Uses great real world examples, will give help or clarify anything if you ask. Likes participation. This class is basically review of everything you've learned in psych. Study his lectures read read for little details

Although Professor Katz is a nice guy, he's very disorganized when it comes to homework assignments and class lectures. He will not post links to turn in homework until the night before or even the day of class. It's a good class, just be prepared for turning in homework last minute.

I took his online class and I found it to be pretty easy. His exams are kind of annoying, but they're multiple choice and it's a credit/no credit class so you have to try hard to fail it. He only makes you read the book a few times for some easy assignments. Take him, he makes it easy :)

Only used the textbook for a few homework assignments. Really easy class, tests based on powerpoints which are online. His lectures are pretty much word for word on the powerpoint. Pass/No pass class.

Katz knows his subject well, but his Clinical psy class has no focus at all and was 90% review of every other therapy type class I've taken. His grading is abysmally slow, and he is rather lenient about grades given. Easy class, and utterly useless. Bought expensive books we DID NOT EVER NEED TO USE.

Maybe Katz was in some sort of funk this past semester... but he was the most disorganized, useless, confusing, and boring professor I have ever had. The class got absolutely NO feedback, the syllabus was changed several times, and the field work assignment was a joke. Huge disappointment for this particular course.

AMAZING! He is so caring and easy to talk to. He never seems annoyed by anyone. He may be a little behind with grading but he is a hard worker. Grad professor and runs has his own office. What do you expect. Grow up people, its college. He doesnt have to hold your hand throughout the course. He's great, highly recommend.

This guy has the most detached and lazy style of teaching I've ever witnessed in my life. He waltzes into classes with some Powerpoint slides, READS THEM DIRECTLY OFF THE PROJECTOR, has a few essays due (NONE THAT HE EVER READS HIMSELF, THE TA'S DO ALL THE GRADING AND HE LOST 3/5 OF MY ESSAYS). Also, Tests have NOTHING to do with lecture. Insane..
