Took my very first quarter at CSUSB. I didn't like his teaching methods. Taught something then changed the way he wanted you to do the problems. Didn't let you use formulas only his "given" table. I always attended classes, formed study groups and still had difficulty in this class.

Dr. Andrusco is a great professor. I was nervous after reading the negative reviews, but all you have to do is apply yourself. Record every lecture, do your HW, follow his method for calculations, study for exams and you'll be fine. He only tests you on what he says in lectures, so again, record every lecture and take good notes.

His tests are pretty easy if you actually understand what was discussed in class, he repeats questions from previous exams without changing them at all, and the most important thing for a lot of students - he curves. Most of the time it is student's fault that they couldn't pass. Go to class, actually study (stop googling) and you will be fine.

I don't understand why he has gotten such bad reviews. He's a great entertaining instructor. He is hilarious and makes the class time fly by. You will need to make sure you make it all of the class or you will miss out of valuable notes since he does not offer slides. He is a bit old school but nonetheless he is very knowledgeable. Test are tricky.

Advice on passing the class. Bring your laptop and type EVERYTHING he says. Study that. Write down all the homework answers he gives you after and study that. Study those two things and you will get an A. I learned alot, he is funny, caring, I love him. He cares for the students, definitely take him if you listen to my advice I provided.

Profesor goes by his own method if you don't get it during lecture forget it. He doesn't like to repeat himself so forget about asking questions. I would never take a class with him again. The worst Profesor I've had in my life.

This class was rough. In order to pass tests take REALLY good notes on his lectures and review the hw assigned. Don't look for the book for help for the test. Test are mult choice and free response. He does grade on a curve (50% is considered a C). Most of my class failed the class, test scores on average were like 16/50. Take if good at accting

Not the greatest of accounting teachers at CSUSB but definitely not the worst. He can be confusing at time but does his best to help out. The subject matter is pretty hard and he is a strict grader on tests.

If you miss class good luck. He does not use the text book and expects you to do the work using his method. He is great to attain a good understanding of how Finance really works, but you have to be in class and do the homework. If you miss anything you will pay for it.

He's a chill old guy, very sarcastic and funny but he covers a lot of material. Go to class and take good notes if you want to pass even go to his office hours. He gives few examples on a topic so make sure you ask questions at that moment because he won't go back. Gives hw but its benefical, 3 exams basically pass or fail at 50%.

Everyone says he is so hard. They advised me to drop, but i needed the credit so I took him. NOT EVEN BAD. The people who failed did not study their notes at all. Tests questions are based on his examples given in class. Im an average grade student and this class was okay. He outlines the solutions clearly. Dont drop his class you can do it !

He's a very good professor honestly. I liked his way of teaching. Everybody learns differently. You have to take notes to not fall behind and ask questions when needed! I recommend him! He's very funny too to top it off

The worst professor ever. Doesn't explain anything, expects you to do everything his way, although you may get the same answer as his him, he will still count the question wrong because it is not "his" way. When he offers to drop the class, please listen.

Where should I start with this review? Gene Andrusco is the WORST professor I have ever had here at CSUSB. His grading curve is beyond strange, He takes DAYS to get back to you via email, You have to sit in assigned seating, He is extremely sexist. What ever you do- avoid him like the plague!

ACCT 212: Record Lectures/study after class is a must! Do not miss class or you miss important stuff. Multiple choice are pulled from either test bank or from wiley author's so good luck with knowing more of the terms in depth. Keep on redoing calculations or go to tutoring and you will "pass" the class.

Fair warning to overachievers: To get an A or B, you have to do better than most of your class, as there's no set "A" or "B" grade. Tests are insane. If you miss even one class, good luck; the tests are based off his lectures and methods. I don't think he's a terrible guy like others are saying, but I definitely agree the class is HARD.

I've had Professor Andrusco for two courses and I've done well in both. His lectures are funny and if you can get past the intimidating personality he's very helpful. Take excellent notes or record lectures to pass the course, all tests come from his lectures. Use the textbook for clarification --rent it, it's not worth buying. Expect homework.
