Comment:
One of the worst professors I have had. Unrealistic expectation of out of class commitment to look up and take notes on his lectures twice. Grades incredibly harsh, old fashioned teaching style (textbook orientated) and just overall awful experience.

Very hard grading guidelines, uses book for everything, lots of long hour consuming projects worth huge percentage points of your grade. Reasonably knowledgeable and smart, but he expects a LOT and doesn't offer a lot of clarity or assistance. The amount of work done wasn't worth how much was learned. Dont take if looking for learning versus graded

This class is very challenging. There are a number of imoportant assignments due throughout the semester. Try to sign up for one of the earliest case analysis presentations so you can get it out of the way, and be graded less harshly! Dibar is HARD but ive never learned more from anyone else.

He is HARD. Be prepared to study, but you will learn loads with him. For both of his papers, make sure you fully understand how he wants citations! This is a biggie for him. Cite *everything*! Other than that, he's a great professor. Hard, but very knowledgeable and helpful.

Had DiBartolo for several classes in the early 90's. Expects you to study and work for your grade unlike many other professors who let you fly by. If you want to learn while in school and use the knowledge gained in the real world, take his class. If you are looking for an easy "A", take Settle or Alreck. But what good would that do you!

Had this guy back in '93 and he wasn't a good teacher then either. His final project he made us do with some kind of computer tabulation I have never seen outside of the Perdue School. I am sorry to have taken his class when I did.

any student that thinks this prof is difficult is just plain lazy. he is demanding but this is the capstone senior class for marketing majors, do the work and keep up. challenging, yet the most you will learn in this business school. always willing to assist as long as you get off your a## and come to him. hes not going to spoon feed people.

this guy is a loser, nothing you do will please him. if he's such a scholar about marketing, then he should be a millionaire businessman instead of a college professor. avoid him if at all possible - if you can avoid him but choose to take him, you will no doubt regret it. he's the only rotten apple in the otherwise great business school.

VERY smart teacher, however, a pain when it comes to taking tests and writing reports. Tests are very long and very hard...all essay, too. BE PREPARED WHEN GIVING PRESENTATIONS TO THE CLASS...HE ASKS THE HARDEST QUESTIONS, AND HE HAS LOTS OF THEM

Sorry, marketing majors. They have made it literally impossible to graduate without taking the 2 required classes he is the only teacher for. Good luck. You will need it.
