Awful disorganized class. Bordelon bombarded us with terrible participation assignments that didn't help much with writing. Feminism felt outdated. A lot of wasted effort and time for the class, more like a 4 unit class... wouldn't recommend taking her unless you have a light courseload. Also she sucks at online too

Serioulsy she is soooooo boring! Class is devoted to busy work within groups. She pretty much wants you to regergetate the text for her. Attendance is mandatory! She will e-mail you or talk to you if she notices you missed class or left early. She doesn't seem comfortable teaching this class, and it makes it hard to endure. Go with another Prof.

The content of the class is a lot of work. Four papers that are broken down into workshops in class everyday. She is extremely nice and will work with you several times outside of class if you need it. She is always available through email, you can tell she cares.

She's a very nice teacher, very smart, and open to ideas. Class itself is a lot of work. Workshops, discussions, self grading, etc but it helps to write the 4 papers. Overall, pretty easy for a writing class.

Great teacher. Vey soft spoken though. Great resourcs for those english teachrs who are serious. Very open to inovative pedegogies. Alot of work, so its not an easy class, but you learn alot. Hard workers only and show up to class. be prepared to present and creat lesson plans. Excellent for real future educators

This lady doesn't get enough credit! My class with her was challenging, especially the group project; but every assignment was crucial to our success in the field. She is willing to work with any student who needs help and uses student feedback to determine future assignments. I've never taken such a student-oriented professor. Highly recommended!

Easy teacher. Makes you do a lot of busy work during class, such as group discussing and various exercise, but they all help when it comes to writing the 4 papers. She sends out email reminders for due dates and there is a lot of essay workshops for each paper. You must attend each class to get a good grade. Great teacher overall!

Nice lady, I feel sorry for her, having to teach people that are not interested in RWS!! She makes it easy to get through, since it is a required class. Her reader contains interesting articles. Being in that class seperate from my major made me see how dumb most SDSU students are!!!

Sweetest teacher you'll ever find.Learned more from her class than all my school years put together.Use to hate writing essays, but she makes writing easy to do.Very helpful & she couldn't make the class any easier. Take her!!!
