Comment:

This professor does the lab portion of Physics. You can tell he likes to teach and is good at it. He explains the lab using the board and demonstration and he works around the room during lab to make sure everyone is on track. As long as you do the labs and attend, you will do well.

Comment:

Berryann is a great guy, super nice and pretty funny I thought. He knows his stuff and makes the material simple for non majors. There are mastering physics homeworks, quizzes, & tests (we had 3 total, 1 for electricity, 1 for magnetism, 1 for waves & optics). No lab reports. Overall the class was easy and I would recommend him.

I was definitely surprised after the first week or so where he seemed kind of bumbling/unprepared, because it turned out he really knew his stuff, was extremely engaging and definitely prepared you for everything he threw at you. Sense of humor too! Two thumbs up!

Very cool guy but hard tests and quizzes because his lectures are so boring. As long as you do the mastering physics and pay attention it's a guaranteed B+.

One giant headache. Tough quizzes and test and sub par lecturing. Labs are boring but everyone generally passes them. Mastering physics is simple as well, so that will keep up your grade. In the end I got a much higher grade than I anticipated, so he must curve at the end of the semester. I guess taking him is a toss up of sorts.

Probably would nt reccommend taking him. Teaches highschool physics and she swears he has lived where you lived at some point in your life. Most people would leave during the break and he wouldn't care. Everyone gets an A on labs and mastering physics as long as you do them. Tests are easy. You basically haev to pay attention but that's hard.

Class was boring. masteringphysics are due two days after each test. grade consists of MP, tests, Labs. labs are an easy A. Never get out early. I expected an -A but got a B. He was nice but very unclear and boring so I would not recommend him.

He is a very nice guy, but not a very good teacher. His lectures are EXTREMELY boring, drawing out the very easy and unimportant details out, while sometimes leaving out important details. His demonstrations usually involve some sort of java applet that is barely visible on the projector, and wastes far too much time showing them.

Labs are really easy, no mastering physics...Only problem is he would never let you leave early. Sometimes fell asleep in his night class. Always contradicts himself.

Mr. Berryann is one of the worst professors so far. He might be a somewhat nice guy and intelligent, but that does not help him in teaching the material. He constantly contradicts himself while explaining topics, and constantly says "oh, wait". The lectures are very drawn out especially night classes.

Very good teacher. Explains physics for someone who wouldn't be too knowledgable of the subject. Can be a little dry and go on but overall a good teacher. Easy labs all you do is help the group almost guarenteed 20/20. Easy homework. Very easy to work with and genuinely nice guy

Professor Berryann is the best physics professor I have ever had! He is awesome! He is interesting, energetic, fun, he knows his stuff and he makes the subject very enjoyable. His class is a blast. You actually learn everything! And no masteringphysics!
