awesome teacher!!! knows his stuff to the tee. makes every class interesting and is a lot more interesting if people participate. he encourages questions at any moment. grade is based on three tests. an optional group project and participation are bonus points. he dusts off the cobwebs from your brain. one of the best professors ive ever had.

Overall great professor. He makes the material interesting, funny and easy to understand. Tests are usually based on lectures so take notes. He gives 3 tests and an optional group project and this is what grade is based on. Very helpful and wants to see his students succeed. Highly recommend him for Phil 150

Great professor! Hes very funny, makes the material interesting. The most you'll have to do is read and understand the material. Gives an optional group project, and gives you a participation grade but it can only help you. He cares about his students and wants to help you. Lots of discussions in class, and its pretty fun. take him!

i got a B- in this class. but it was my fault. overall he's a great professor who tries his hardest to get the main points across. the main work that you'll ever have to do is read and understand the texts. a really helpful way to study is to take notes of what he says in class and you'll be just fine

He takes roll everyday so don't be late. he's also very understanding. i totally overslept on a presentation day and he was gonna give me an F but i sent him an email explaining my honest mistake and he gave me a grade of nothing instead of an F.

Kamler talks A LOT. You HAVE to pay attention to what he's saying though - take lots of notes and ask lots of questions. He likes it when you get involved in the class and make him repeat what he said so the info is drilled into your skull. Make sure you read EVERYTHING if you want a good grade. Difficult material to remember.

This class was very interesting.(and I never thought I would like a phil class)The 3 tests are easy to study for as long as you take good class notes. If you need to fulfill the GE, I definitely recommend this class.

He look like Kaleb from the OC. If you are a big fan of the OC, then you'll know what I'm talking about. He's a very laid-back guy, also a little bit flirtatious to the girls. He's the 1st prof I know that actually take his time to memorize all of his students' names. Just show up to class, participate in his discussions and you'll be fine.

He seriously looks like the Grandpa from the OC. Easy class, just listen and understand what he says and you're set. Comment:

Loves to hear himself talk. I was genuinely interested in the subject before taking his class, but he soon made it unenjoyable. All he does during lessons is read aloud from the text and then re-phrase it to us like we're idiots, which was frustrating and boring to sit through. It's otherwise a great class for people who don't care about learning.
