Comment:

You have to dedicate your time to this class. Multiple exercises in video editing. The midterm and final take time but are fun. Classes are synchronous but shorter. We get a week to asynchronously video edit. She is not mean, just candid, which is good. Sometimes she is contradictory. Unclear in task instructions sometimes.

Comment:

She was a tough professor to impress, and she was very candid. She makes you work for your A, and you need to stay on top of your assignments and projects. Her class is extremely fruitful. I came out of that class feeling more accomplished in my production and post-production skills.

She's a very cool lady. Her accent is type thick but you get her most of the time. Her assignment are challenging in their own way. She's passionate and wants you to understand. She's entertaining as we'll. she doesn't play with cell phones at all, lateness nor eating. She's gives breaks and she just keeps it real. Good professor..

I liked this professor, but she really reminds you that you are in college. You have to work hard to receive a good grade,and the work is not scarce. She is a very nice and passionate lady and the class was entertaining. If you like to do assignments, then I highly recommend her. If you don't, then you might like her anyway.

A very encouraging, creative, and appreciative woman. Moves very fast, but if you can't catch on, she'll sit down with you until you do. She has her favorites, but just do the work, with effort and creativity, and you'll be one of them. Wonderful experience.

A bit flakey at times, but I still liked her a lot. Will do anything to help you... except answer emails. She wants her students to be as creative as possible and will help you create your vision. I would recommend her to anyone who is seriously interested in studio production.

I LOVE HER. SHE'S VERY CREATIVE AND SHE GIVES U CHANCES. SHE HAS EXTREME PASSION OF WHAT SHE DOES AND SHE LOVES IT. BUT SHE DOESN'T MAKE YOU LOVE IT TO. My first A+ at the college came from Professor Patkanian. She has an incredibly engaging teaching style that draws you in immediately. And she actually seems to enjoy her work. She treats her students more like colleagues; like human beings. So hard to find in a professor thse days. The best.
