I thought this class was about the same if not easier than the AP bio class i took in high school. He's very passionate, quizzes on line are stupidly easy, extra credit opportunities, office hours i highly recommend, and the tests come straight from the book. Easy A if you read the book.

Comment:

James was a very difficult teacher although he is very passionate and seems intimidating, do not hesitate to just go in and talk to him. His class isn't that difficult, TAKE THE QUIZES, GO TO CLASS, and GO VISIT HIM. All of the questions in his test are on yahoo answers. He is very nice and I got a 78.9% and he bumped it up to an 84% show you care.

He is the worst professor at SSU by far. Nothing made sense and his tests were impossible. Avoid him at all costs. He completely ruined any interest I had in biology.

He is a really hard professor but he is absolutely brilliant. If you have trouble, he is more than wiling to help you out. Lectures were sometimes hard to get through but he is probably one of my favorite professors to have in lab. He yells but even he says it's because he gets excited about the topic.

if there were zeros available, thats where this professor(designated ppt reader) would land on the scale...if I wanted to teach myself I wouldn't have PAID for college. Ipso Facto avoid this man. He says "UHH" literally every other word...I wish the school would pay me big bucks and let me read to students. HE is a waste of SSUs money. and of mine!

Avoid if possible. Out of all my professors I've had at SSU, he's the worst. He does not teach clearly at all and is far too difficult. Class average was below 50% on every test. Seriously, avoid him at all costs.

Unless you are science savvy, I would advise you not to take this class. Even if you are decent at biology, I wouldn't suggest him. Test's are hard, class average was below 50 percent, and kind of a mean guy. Not an impossible class, but definitly not the best.

Wow, I'm amazed people don't like this guy. I thought he was really simple and nice. Yeah, you have to read the book, guys. But that seems like basics lol. He didnt get through the chapters, but then made the tests cover way less info. Gives extra credit chances, tho I didnt take em. Not a bad guy. I liked the class!

HARD! Christmann expects you to read the entire book and then extrapolate that information in a jumbled and very confused manor on his tests. I was able to learn the material with clarity but the exams were extremely abstract and difficult. I am an A student and couldn't get a B. Worth avoiding if you wish to understand BIOLOGY not tricky details.

I thought Molecular Genetics would be interesting but Christmann managed to kill it for me. AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE! His lectures are boring and his tests are hard. He doesn't give you a review and doesn't take interest if you go to him for help. His brain is just wired genius, which makes it hard for "normal" people.

He is seriously the worst teacher ever. i loved bio in high school and he taught me to hate it. His lectures are sooo boring and no one goes. His test are impossible. I tried going to office hours a few times and it wasnt helpful at all. he kept going on and on and never answered my question. The only thing he grades are test. DONT TAKE!!!!!!
