Professor Cregg motto is "Welcome to the Cisco Family", and he is passionate about computer networking and showing off his $500,000 Cisco Laboratory. Chapter exams and Labs are done online, and chapter exams and skill exams have multiple tries. If you want to take Cisco Network Academy, RCC is one of two schools in the state with actual equipment.

Use the textbook AND the curriculum and it's an easy A. Also if you are new to networking ask the people in the class for help if needed. He is very hard to understand sometimes but he repeats stuff 100 times. Also he says "automatically after like every 3 words, you learn to love it.

As long as you stay on top of the assigned work you will pass. Tests were open notes/book. Attendance is mandatory, but he will make exceptions if you communicate with him. Not rocket science, do the work and show up. Easy A.

Such a shame that such a helpful course has such an unsupportive advocate. Don't you dare question his methodology or prepare yourself for a back-front-words conversation that goes nowhere. I got through by just doing my assignments and making friends in class. He isn't easy to reach, and when reached, not helpful.

You do the work and you will pass! The best thing about this teacher is that he wants you to pass. Just follow the step by step on the book and you will breeze through this class. His lectures are long, but you will learn soooo much in CIS_1A. If you need an A. Take this class.

Cregg does a good job of keeping it lively but the repetitive CLI gets old real fast. Do yourself a favor and mind the concepts.. Don't miss the in-class assignment 2nd or 3rd day.. Final is pretty tough, but its easy to pad your grade leading up to it. There's no reason you shouldn't at least earn a passing grade in the first of the CCNA series.

Teacher has poorly planed lessons only showing you slides on the board with little to no examples just expects you to know it . Teacher will respond to questions with the same thing he just said over and over with no further explanation, acting as if you didnt hear him when you did but want more .also says automatically a 1000 times don't take!!

Wonderful teacher had him for the winter session. He was very clear on the assignments and was very helpful when I asked a question. Also he is a very nice teacher, which is always a plus. The textbook was required because it showed step by step on how to complete the assingments.

really nice older man. class is self- explanatory and there are no surprises. an easy A if you stay on top of your work. the information you learn also really benefits you in the long run. I recommend taking this course.

I found this professor to be a joy. He not only owned his subject matter he presented it with enthusiasm and it was refreshing to get that from a professor. He was very helpful and attentive. The amount of coursework was itense but I learned every step of the way and walked away from each class with something new.

This class has way too much work. I have many 3 unit classes that have less work. I don't mind the work, but for a 1.5 unit class this was ridiculous. If you want a high grade be prepared to spend what you would spend in a 3 unit class. Book is Ok, Topics are OK, Final is Great. Design a website. That was rewarding and I learned a lot.

He seems like a nice guy, but he's completely insane to expect so much from a 1.5 unit course. I'm having to do more work for his course than for a 4-unit internship, and I'm familiar with the subject! It's ridiculous for him to be so self-centered as to expect that his class is the only one people are trying to finish. I'll never take him again.

This was an online course that was short. The class pretty much ran itself with very little input from the professor that's probably why I liked it. Easy class, the teacher can be a little smart mouth in his email, but I put him in his place and he wised up real quick. All and all good class.
