He makes a class that you would expect to boring anything but. If you work hard in his class, he will see the work you do and appreciate it any may even help you with opportunities outside of class (like getting into honor societies and such)

I took this class because I was interested in possibly being a Media & Comm major, and while that's no longer what I want to do, I am OBSESSED with Pooley. He's kind, enthusiastic, and always eager to meet outside of class. I hope to do a mentorship with him sometime over the next 3 years!

prof pooley is smart, funny, AND TOTALLY SCORCHING! what a shame he's married with a baby : ( He makes himself really available and is a terrific lecturer. If you haven't visited him in office hours, it is a definite must. Oh, and did i mention he's TOTALLY SCORCHING? (also, he looks like he's stoned half the time.)
