Comment:

This is one of best Advance thermodynamics lectures I had attended (I did one at another Top schools). He follows very good book of MS Shell which is very designed and simple to understand. He sticks to the book and he answers every question raised in the class (if not he gets back to you in next class). He is one of the best in this research area.

Dr. Errington was not one of my favorite Professors. He Can be arrogant. He never answers emails and is never available for office hours. He expects you to learn everything on your own, or go to the tutoring lab and they don't always know the answer to a homework problem and neither does he. 1 credit class, the work load was enough for 3 credits.

This was the worst hour and a half of my week every week, 2 times a week. I found myself skipping, just to not need to sit through the most boring hour and a half ever. He pronounces "fluid" like a retard: "fluuuuuuuuid." Stay away from this class if you can.

Well...he accused literally one third of the class on cheating on one homework assignment and lowered their grade by a full letter. Did nothing to help those who didn't "cheat" on hw. Grading scale is weighted so you're first test score is pretty much your final grade. looks down upon students, and acts that way too. he is just not a good person

This class was the most bland of all the classes I have taken. The material and methods are alien to many students , and pretty difficult to understand. Errington's style is mind-numbing at times. The average on the final was 35.6 . Be ready to drop this class , but try to pass.

He sucks!!!! difficult class about boring stuff! his lectures are insanely boring! he is very smart and knows the stuff but is fairly errogent and that doesn't make you want to ask him anything b/c he'll be obnoxious about it! Hence, he sucks!!!

Lecture are boring to say the very least. But he goes over tons of examples in class and in his help session after the class. Homeworks are somewhat tricky, but the tests were fairly easy. As long as you keep up with the material and get help on the homework problems, you should do fine in the class.
