I really enjoyed calculus with Jerry. He's very patient and willing to help me with anything and everything with regards to the class. There is a lot of homework and quizzes but the lowest get dropped. Plus the homework helps with the midterms as well. He is available throughout the week for office hours too! Highly recommend this prof!

Comment:

Dr. Morris is caring and funny. He makes calculus understandable and his office hours are almost every day. If you go to reach out to him, he will help you and make sure you understand. However, this class does consist of a lot of homework and quizzes. He is strict on grading though. Other than that he is amazing and a great professor.

I love Jerry Morris! If you have the option to take a class with him, do it! He is so funny, caring, and an amazing professor. Everyday in class was enjoyable and he made difficult concepts easy to understand. He is also an easy grader and will curve and change grades if something happens.

Dr. Morris is probably the best teacher I've ever had. He can be strict on grading, but he's more than willing to walk you through it and help you understand where you missed up. Really helpful in office hours, and lectures are a serious joy to sit through. Couldn't recommend him enough!

Dr. Morris is the most amazing math professor at SSU, even better than Dr. Minor (I think personally). He will go over any content you ask, is super clear, and will ALWAYS work with you in order for you to succeed in the class. Calc 2 is a challenging course, but I learned the fundamentals of the class and killed it because of him.

Morris is an amazing teacher! Genuinely cares about the students and is constantly asking for questions. He gets excited when his students succeed and is more than welcoming to questions and office hours. Great teacher.

Brilliant professor. I worked so hard in both classes, calc 1 and 2. But it's ok because he is working hard right along with you. This man has no ego. It seems as though he was born to permutate information into something everyone can understand. His only interest is how he can be the best teacher. Do what he says and you'll pass, no problem.

This guy is awesome! Mr. Morris is probably the best teacher I have ever had! He is very clear and makes sure that you understand the information both in class and in his office hours. Calculas was easy with this guy, just do your homework. This class has made me want to double major in math. Love this dude!! He also has a funny. witty personality.

Great guy. He knows knows what he's talking about and he teaches well. He's always willing to help his students and he's really friendly. To pass the class, you just gotta use your resources, do the hw and practice problems. The more you practice, the easier it gets

Dr. Morriss is a great professor. I had absolutely no desire to take Calculus when I got to college (in fact I was terrified of it), but he really is the reason I was able to get an A in the class. Goes at just the right pace and is great at helping students out with problems. Definitely recommend him as the best teacher for this class.

Comment:

Morris is a really great professor and his materials are clear. His work loads is all quizzes and 1 or no homework. However, even if he is really great, his class is DIFFICULT. I'll give him the benefit of a doubt because its calculus but his class is the only one that will go faster than the other classes. Take him if you need to but be careful.

Prof. Morris is a great teacher. He really likes what he is teaching you, and makes sure that everyone understands. There is lots of time in class for practice and he's always very helpful. Quizzes every week, but only 1-2 questions, and the midterms are fairly easy if you do the work throughout the semester. I would definitely take him again!

Undoubtedly one of the best teachers I've ever had - and definitely the best math teacher I've ever had. The first time I heard him speak I thought he was the biggest nerd in the world - and he is, but he's also one of the nicest and most caring people in the world. He will spend as much time as you need on anything you are confused on. A+ teacher!

Dr. Morris is awesome. One of the best teachers at SSU. He's always extremely helpful to his students and his lectures are REALLY clear. His tests are a little difficult but he'll review with you beforehand. Overall, if you just go to class, I don't see how anyone could fail.
