HE IS CRAZY! DO NOT TAKE HIM UNLESS YOU WANT YOU GPA TO DROP...he makes corny jokes when you ask him a question, and nevers answers you. he trys to trick you on his test and his notes are soooo bad. hes just not a good teacher.

Yates does a pretty good job at teching 121. He cracks jokes, and he gives very detailed notes. If you ever hvave any question you can ask him and he'll gladly answer.

His name sounds like he's a hard prof. but his class is actually easy,and not overwhelming. Take notes, and pay attention, you may tend to get bored at times though. He makes the course as easy as can be, and he gives point curves!! easiest class I took this semester. I highly recommend,especially for lazy students.

Bio 302 is a fairly easy class, you have weekly quizzes that are pretty strait forward. You have to write lab reports too, as a heads up, be very thorough in your conclusion so you get full credit. You give one brief presentation, just be familiar with the material and he'll walk you through it. I'd recommend this class for one of your 300 levels.

Yates is very sarcastic.. dont ask questions in lab.. tends to get rude.. you never really need the textbook.. notes are fairly long... quizzes every other fri. make sure you study every detail from the notes because they will be on the quiz.. good instructor overall.. take notes ans study.. helpful professor at the beginning of lectures..

Yates, is funny to me because he tries to be funny. His notes are LONG. But they are in a way you can understand them. READ YOUR TEXT!!! The test are from both the text and notes, but your text clarifies your notes even more. His labs are fun.

Dr. Yates is a guy you can't take seriously. He answers questions by asking you a question, but I still recomend asking them anyway cause he is more then willing to help. There are tons of notes, but tests come straight from them mostly word for word and they are multiple choice. Final was supeer easy. Wish I had him for 102.

he is funny yet rude. intelligent but he tends to act stupid on purpose. stay on his good side and he wont have a problem with you. his quizzes are hard but come from the notes. he words them in a weird way. labs are the easiest ever. the write-ups are easy and take about an hour and the lab quizzes are easy too.

It was probably the easiest A I have ever made. His quizzes come straight from his powerpoints. He is very funny. Lab is a pain, expect to do poorly on the first one but you will get the hang of it. Lab quizzes are easy, just go over stuff right before class. He curves his grades but it is pretty easy to get an A.

I hate him..dont dare ask a question in lab he will treat you like you are an idiot, quizzes are easy if you come to class and copy the notes. if you take him just make sure you dont ask him questions and be prepared for hard lab write-ups.

Yates is a good professor that is very knowledgeable. He does make you feel stupid sometimes...His lab write-ups are extremely gruleing and NEVER be the first to turn in your write-up. His quizzes are pretty hard, but he does curve grades. It's really not that hard to get an A/B out of the class.
