It is truly a shame that Dr. Willey will no longer be teaching 143. This was HANDS DOWN my favorite class ever. She always has some crazy story to keep you interested and yet explains everything so clearly. Made me love microbes! I'm pretty sure my ENTIRE class felt the same. Dr. Willey is the BEST!

This woman is the god of micro. Wrote the textbook, and can explain anything with clarity. Glad I got to experience her before she moves on to the med school.. micro with another professor just wont be the same. Definitely an asset to the Hofstra bio department, one of the best around. Genuine & cares if you do well, always there to help! Take her!

If only every professor could be like Dr. Willey. She is hilarious, always has a funny story to keep you interested, and actually cares about her students. Ive spent hours in her office and she will ALWAYS drop what shes doing to make sure you understand something.Take her, work hard, and see her often for help & youll get an A. I did :)

Can honestly say she is THE best professor i have had so far. I wish she taught more classes, i would take them. She is brilliant, and extremely helpful, and really does care about students. Treats us how she wants prof. to treat her own kids. Answers emails quickly, always avail. to help. Class is hard, but she makes it fun. TAKE HER!

show her ur a hard worker and u will be fine. the class is challenging but within reason. suck it up if she disses you. it wont kill you. and dont think ur superman if she compliments you. she is jekyll and hyde. just be on top of things and u will get a good grade

I had her for lab and she was AMAZING. She is very understanding and will give u an extention on any lab and will answer your emails very fast. She also makes the labs easy to understand and tries to get out early! SHE IS THE BEST>>TAKE HER

Great Teacher. She does a lot of "workshops" which are really helpful in order to understand the material. In addition, she responded to emails in less then and hour.. always willing to help you. Def one of the best bio teachers!

Where do I start? First of all, this woman is brilliant. UPenn, MIT and Harvard educated. Yes, she does have a split personality; totally approachable one moment, and completely unapproachable the next. ASSIGNS A LOT OF WORK, but grades it fairly easily. Her tests are of average difficulty. One of my favorite profsesors. I thought she was hot too.

brilliant woman, an inspiration and a role model, impacted my profession choice, taught me most of what i know about science, i cannot say enough good things about her- one of my all time favorite teachers...cares a lot!
